I shouldn't open these threads...
I can't believe how much some kids get. Mine usually get one thing from Santa, and a couple of little games or books to open. Usually three things max, and say 200 or so. This year it's maybe 100 each.
Eg. A scooter, or a dsi, or an iPod, or Lego, Or littlest pet shop.
They get little things from rellies like books, clothes, games. Nothing more than say 20-40 dollar pressies.my kids don't really want for anything. They are happy to get one pressie. So if they get three or four big pressies, then what do they get for birthdays, or when they are 8 or 10. DD 8 is getting an iPod for her eight bday, so dd 5 can wait till she is eight. Lol.
We never used to do pressies from us, as dd bday is in jan too, but A couple of pressies were not too well hidden, so they will become pressies from mum and dad. Sounds like some must have big pressie cupboards..... I struggled to hide four thing!

We purchased our son a new, remote control car -after 5 minutes he ran it down a drain and the current took it away, along with $350 literally down the drain. OMG.
