BUMP pic!! 35 weeks today biggrin.gif

Bigger than I was at 37+3 with Davey, he was 3110g (6lbs 14oz) so I'm guessing this one will be 7lb something depending on when she arrives.

Aww Elle you look AMAZING!!!! All baby- I am jealous wink.gif Lucy and Davey were almost identical- she was 3118g! (although that was at nearly 42 weeks lol). Goodness, this announcement could be coming quite soon then, eh! I totally hear you on the coccyx pain and lower back pain. I think I had coccyx pain before I even got my BFP this time! I haven't had any hip pain yet but I do remember it from last time- ouch! Still, not long to go for you!

AFM, called birth centre and they don't have the full report from the scan but they said "all measurements within normal range" tthumbs.gif This is the first scan since 12 weeks that this has been the case so it seems she may have caught up a bit!! Toot! biggrin.gif Oop, DH cake beeping, better go, hopefully will be back later with a bump pic as I just realised it's been about 7 weeks since I've taken one- poor neglected 2nd baby!!

ETA- Elle I think I got a PM reply from you but it was empty- let me know if I missed anything!

Hi ladies!! I've just said goodbye to about 40 people who came to inspect my flat....gosh! Are Sydney rental markets tight! 3 days before our move - we've been moving boxes all week (we have the keys to our other apartment already) so I'm feeling pretty on top of it. DS and I will spend moving day far far away at my friends house while the boys get all sweaty biggrin.gif With all the activity, I haven't had much time to pay attention to bubs - I had thought that the little one was not moving as much, but today it seems more active biggrin.gif

Ali - so glad to hear that your last scan went well! I haven't taken a bump pic for awhile either! I'm kind of hoping that I will take enough pics of me with DS to capture the bump biggrin.gif I have lots of bump pics from 19-24 weeks from my pg with DS because we were in Europe biggrin.gif Great to hear about DD' TT progress too original.gif You might just inspire me! DS is starting to tell me again that he has done a poo, so I wonder if I should try again... Yay for the big bed too! Hopefully this time next week DS will be in one too original.gif

elle - That is a lovely bump wub.gif I hope everything is ok for you to go to the wedding. Is there a hospital where you will be, just in case you need it?? Gosh I can't believe its so close for you!! I hope you're feeling better, and that you're finding ways to get comfy - it is very tough at this stage of pg to get respite sad.gif Hope there hasn't been bad heat in Perth?? Syd has been remarkably cool and wet this summer - which has been a relief, and also a pain when you want to get your toddler out!!

Genie - bbighug.gif Hope you and your little girls are well and rested, it sounds like a real rough patch! DS hasn't been circumised, probably because I've just never thought about it biggrin.gif

flyingkiwi - So happy to hear your good news about bubs heart! What a relief original.gif

DH has taken DS to the park to get away from the hordes, so I really should be doing work (I've been working on a contract based engineering project from home since Nov - I manage to do about 6 hours a week!). But..I...don't......want...to!!!
I'm throwing my good friend a baby shower tomorrow, so it will be a big day, but lots of fun!!

Hi all, we've been away and this thread has been busy so apologies if I miss you.

Flying Kiwi -
great to hear that the scan went well and the hole has closed over.

Elle - what a fab bump!

Well done to those of you getting on with the TT and big beds. It is clear that DD (19mo) is not anywhere near ready for a big bed as she was sleeping on a mattress on the floor at my parents and kept falling off it. Also fell off the bed from along side of me (something she has never done at home) but luckily it was a low bed and she fell onto a pillow that she'd already pushed down there.

Genie - how horrible for your girls being sick and allergic reactions - how scary. Glad to hear all are on the mend now.

alibaba and rumply- good news that scans have gone well

cubs - lol at forgetting underwear. I've almost forgotten a few times so I'm sure that add pregnant brain now and I'm bound to forget at least once. DD would be very disappointed too as we usually get a babycino after swimming.

SusieBlue Hope the moving is almost done. I hate moving and there is a chance we'll be doing it with a newborn because I am refusing to move before I have the baby. I keep hoping we won't actually have to move at all but I think it might just be my inner optimist thinking. We moved into our current house when DD was a newborn.

AFM - DD has gastro so had to cancel swimming today. Hopefully she is over it mostly now as she has had it on and off since last Saturday. She had her 18mo vax today anyway as Dr thought she'd be fine to have them. Luckily my constant eating to avoid ms is not showing on the scales too much. I already have a little bump though. Dating scan is Monday and I'm looking forward to having a definite due date. I will be kind of surprised if it is as late as I've put myself down for here, I think I'm further along than that. Finally got to the doctor today and he gave me my referrals for both dating and NT, as well as Ob. Surprisingly didn't send me for bloods though, but maybe it is less routine here. A good friend just had a baby so hoping DD is well by Sunday so that I can get some newborn cuddles. Well, I'm meant to be having a rest while DH has taken DD out so closing eyes here.

Hi to everyone I missed.

Hi ladies,

First of all I wanted to say a big thank-you to all of you for being so non-judgemental wub.gif I certainly can't think of too many other places I could have asked about circumcision without getting made to feel like the world's worst parent. To be honest I don't know whether we will or won't, it's just that every male in both our families are done and we'd never even had the conversation before now. Personally I had never even given it a moments thought. We'll do some research and make a decision we are both comfortable with, but it's nice to know what other people have done too.

Susie - Wow, it must be hard to find a good rental in Sydney! Great to hear bubs is being more active, each of those kicks is so wonderfully reassuring!

Ali - Wonderful news all around! Great to hear your scan was completely normel and congratulations to DD for all her success!!!

Elle - You look fantastic! That is a beautiful bump photo wub.gif The wedding is certainly a tricky situation to be in. I've never had any signs my babies were coming until I was in labour, so unfortunately I can't offer any ideas. I'd probably ring the local hospital though and speak to them just in case. Hope you're feeling better soon xx

AFM, the heat is messing with my low blood pressure but otherwise I'm feeling great. Both girls are almost human again, so hopefully that start sleeping through the night again soon and we can all start to catch up. I have definitely started feeling movements, very tiny ones and only at night if I lie still and concentrate, but it is wonderful all the same!

elle: thanks for your welcome! Nice bump!! So close now. Although at this stage in things sometimes the end feels far away when it you are so big.

michiemoo: hope dd has gotten over her gastro.

Rumply: i had to laugh at your description of DS and his little monkey re: circumcision. Such a good description especially when they are so small. They need to hang onto every bit of skin they have. LOL.

Genie: good luck in your decision if it is a little boy. But i prefer to opt for al naturale and did so for both my boys but back in the 70s i think there was a big push to get it done now these days its the opposite not too.

ph34r.gif Donna. Im pretty sure its your NT scan today. Oh do put some photos up. I would love to gender guess if u provide a side on profile of bub whole body etc. I new zara was a dd at 11.5 weeks due to the nub theory. Great thing is its very accurate at 12 weeks. Even the FMU lady uses it and it was her that told me DD was giong to be a DD at that point in the pregnancy.
Anyway most importantly hope u have nice healthy baby growing in there. Gee u seem to be flying through the pregnancy, almost a third of the way. Amazing.

hi to everyone else. Hope all is well. Going to read some now on how to unspoil your child and quickly!! A friend lent it to me and its a library book so best keep on top of it!

Hi everyone,

Cubs - I can't believe your children need unspoiling! But let us know how it goes. How are you and bub travelling? Are you having an early scan? Want to catch up soon? Before I return to work on 1 Feb would be best.

Genie - low bp and heat sucks doesn't it? I get dizzy if I overheat and if I don't sit down I fall down, usually it doesn't get that far. Lack of sleep doesn't help either, good to hear that the girls have turned a corner and movement's definately good. I was told this morning that I have an anterior placenta, so I may not feel movement until later.......we will see, I guess.

Michie - How did your scan go this morning? Did you get your newborn snuggles yesterday?

Susie - How was the baby shower? Good luck with the move, we will be moving in to our new house at the beginning of May, when I will be about 26 weeks. I told DH this morning that I will not be doing much because I'll be too fat! We told everyone that DD didn't need birthday presents for her birthday yesterday because we'd just need them to help us move them. We may have to get them to help anyway.

Ali - Great news that bub is within normal ranges.

Edited to remove random words!

AFM - NT scan this morning, bub measuring 12 wks 4 days. HB 162, nuchal fold was 1.6-1.8 and the nasal bone was present. so....... all looking good. Anyway, best go, I have washing to hang out and I can'te procrastinate any longer!

Hi everyone!

DW2202 - great news on your scan! It's always a relief seeing a wiggly baby on the screen isn't it.

3cubs - unspoiling your child ... I might have to read that. DS has hit 2 with a vengeance. Everything is NO at the moment. Driving.me.insane.

Genie - I think it's great that you and DH are discussing circ now. I have a few friends who's DH's landed it on them in the days after birth when they just didn't have the ability to think properly about it. huh.gif DH and I did the research and decided not to get it done. So glad to hear your little ones are feeling better.

michie0moo - hope your dating scan went well today and you had snuggly newborn cuddles.

alibaba~81 - sooooo happy to hear that all is well with your little lady. So it seems that you were right all along! biggrin.gif how is the naming coming along?

Elle - what a fab belly!! Can't believe that we are almost at the baby announcemnets stage. Honestly, where has the time gone!!

AFM - thought i would get on here while i had some time. DS absolutely LOVES the next door neighbour and so he's over there at the moment. She's in her 50's, has adult children (one still at home) and just dotes on him. She loves it, I love the break, DS lovesthe attention so it's win win! lol!

We had another scan on Friday to check the location of the placenta as it was a bit low lying at 20 weeks. Good news is it has well and truly moved away now. Sonographer thinks that it was never low lying but that I had a contraction at the time the measurement was taken which made it appear lower than it actually was. Just as well I never worried about it!! Baby is very happy in there and is sitting on about the 50th percentile for everything, except that it has long legs (like everyone in our families). Head circumference is sitting at about 47% (yay!! biggrin.gif ) Would rather that be on the smaller side of normal than larger side lol.

Hope everyone is going well!!

Hi all,

3cubs - maybe I need that book too. DD's tantrums are quite speccie at times but luckily she is still distractable some of the time.

Donna - great to hear the NT scan went well. Such a nice thing to see a nice healthy baby. My placenta looks anterior too.

Genie - hope cooler weather (?? not sure where you are) is helping with the BP and good luck with the move.

AFM
- got my newborn cuddles yesterday. So glad we are expecting too otherwise I would have been green with envy. Dating scan was today and all looking good but as suspected I am due sooner than my BFP suggested. Nice strong HB. Actually only 1 week out from my LMP so I was pregnant when I tested the first time, just not far enough!

Hi ladies, I have just caught up on all the posts. I'm so sorry I haven't been around much. Put it this way our families have had more than there fair share of family dramas over the xmas period. Between that and the renos...which still are no where near complete.Things have just been too hectic for EB. Forgive me for lack of personals. I will say congrats to all the newbies in here, and I'll have to make a special mention to 3cubs. It's been a long time coming but this little one will be more than worth the wait.
Congrats too on those who have had scans recently, it seems only news was good news and you can't get better than that.
Genie - In regards to circumcision we never really gave it a thought. I loved ALL of my little boys the moment they came out and it just didn't feel right to change anything about them. They are just the most tiniest precious little things, that I couldn't justify doing something that was unnecessary. Good luck whichever way you decide to go.
Ali - thanks for remembering my due date tongue.gif , although it was pretty easy for you. I can't believe how fast it is coming around.

AFM all going well apart from getting gestational diabetes yet again. A few pro's though - they won't let me go over my due date (well at least not very far) and it's really kept my weight under control especially over the holidays. The downside is all the bloodtests the little one will have to have over the first 24hours and the fact that maccas has brought back the McOZ at the same time I was diagnosed.....I'm just hoping they stick around long enough for this baby to make her appearance. I'll be making sure DH stops thru the drivethru on way home from hospital biggrin.gif

I have added Honeyfly to the list...although she hasn't been around for a while. Honeyfly if you're reading this be sure to keep us updated. Goodluck with the birth if she hasn't already made her appearance
