Should I be concerned?
DS is 14 months old and only has six teeth. He has had any teeth come through since September last year. |

My DD is 14 months too and has only 6 teeth. Her little friend only has 4 and is 6 weeks older another is 2 months younger and has nearly all her teeth.. It just depends on the kid. Im not worried they will come when they are ready.

Teeth aren't a milestone or a developmental mark, so really I'd not worry. I also wouldn't know what you could DO anyway.

Both DD's (now 3.5 and 22 months) got their first teeth between 10-12 months.
DD2 (22 months) now has her front 8 teeth and all 4 molars coming through. (so 12). But 2 months ago at 20 months, she only had the front 4 upper and lower teeth. I think it's a good thing, because although they can't chew/eat as easily - their teeth have less time to rot in their mouths/develop holes etc. DD2 is a NIGHTMARE trying to get teeth cleaned. Despite starting at 6 months (no teeth) to practice, it is a fight EVERY.SINGLE.NIGHT to clean her teeth. |

At that age my DD only had 2 teeth. Then they are came through at once. Total nightmare.
No I wouldn't worry. They are teeth differently. |
