Hi All,

My DD is just shy of 3 months and need an opinion on whether she needs to go into the cot. At present she is in a bassinette by our bed. In the wee hours of the morn, I find her horizontal across the bassinette! Is this an indication that she needs to go into the cot and for equipment to stop her from rolling around? When she wakes for this feed (does it end??? wink.gif ) I then co-sleep with her to BF until morning, which I am starting to try to wean her off by using a dummy. Opinions???

You could try wrapping or tucking her in a bit tighter so she can't move so much. I think safe sleeping recommendations are that bubs stay in your room for the first 6 months, so if you can keep her in the bassinet a bit longer it might be good.

I moved my DS to the big cot at 3.5 months for the same reason. Things are good and it fits in our bedroom. He has slept through the night 7 times since xmas - but I don't think the cot made a difference as he has done this in his cradle, cot & travel cot, there is no pattern as yet.
