Hi ladies,

Thanks for all the advice re my friend. I'm currently still holding off and think I might for a couple more weeks until her husband returns from work so that she at least has his support. This however will change if she asks me directly if I'm pregnant and then I'll have to be honest as she did the same as me when she was pregnant late last year. I don't think it's fair to tell her though whilst she's without the support of her hubby.

Excited that I'm finally off to my Drs appointment tomorrow.

Stretching feelings in uterus have eased off a bit now so feeling slightly more comfortable except lower back soreness. Still waiting for nausea.

Told a colleague yesterday but of course she's sworn to secrecy and understands the importance of no one knowing since I'm reapplying for my job at the moment. Felt good to be able to talk about it though.

Itching for the second trimester, soooo impatient!!! Want to start shopping for the big things but going to hold off for now.

Hope you all have a good day original.gif

Hi threelittleindians congrats on baby number 4! I just joined too, but this will be baby number 2 for us.

Cams I know how you feel regarding your friend. My sister in law who i am very close with had a miscarriage only 8 weeks ago so i am really nervous to see her in case she directly asks me and i have to tell her as i think she is still really shaken up.
Im going to the doctors today for bloods. Im a little concerned as my HPT's dont seem to be getting any darker yet (4th one today) but i am still breastfeeding my DD and i heard the hcg is also in the breastmilk so it may be diluted due to that.

Have a great day biggrin.gif

Hi everyone,

Just a quick one for me as I'm off to the doctor to get my referral and have this pregnancy confirmed. Still no symptoms so it will be nice to know its real.

It seems like ages that I was first posting in here, waiting for others to join but then again I can't believe I'm only just passed 6 weeks. Go quicker please!!

Anyway will pop back in later after the dr's. Sorry no time for personals but I hope you're all doing well xxx

Hooray I am actually enjoying waking up and feeling hungover! I am taking it as a sign that things are heading in the right direction! My DS has finally started sleeping through properly so its quite good timing really!!
Welcome 3littleindians!! Its starting to be quite a big group - musty have been lots of new years loving going on wink.gif
Cams im the same about the second trimester. For some reason the first just seems to drag on and on!!
jacqui - I use itti bittis with DS and I love them! Have also tried cushie tushies are whilst they are ok I only use them if im getting desperate!!

Soooo... we are also getting married in 2 months! I should be 12/13 weeks at our wedding and I cant wait to surprise all of our friends with our news!! hehe, bit cheeky of us - but timing of our second was more important than me not being able to drink at our wedding!! I shouldnt be showing by then anyway and if I am i'll just blame the cake wink.gif I am having blood test tomorrow and will get a referral for a dating scan as im not 100% original.gif

Hi Mummies and Mummies to Be

Sorry I’ve been a little MIA of late – I seem to read on my phone or at work so don’t get too much of a chance to reply. And boy does this thread seem to move quickly, especially seeing we still haven’t reached capacity yet with lots of new BFP’s to come!

Cams – I feel your pain with telling someone who has been trying for a while with no luck. My DH’s best mate found out late last year after a year of trying that he has no active sperm – at least not when it matters. They are going through investigative procedures at the moment to see if there are any at all which can be used for IVF. And then here we go, first time, not even really trying. I think we might just keep that last bit to ourselves because I’d hate to hurt them. I know how much they want a child.

BikingBubs – congrats on your impending wedding! At least that should keep your mind busy and off the pregnancy a little as you make the final preparations. What a lovely surprise for your guests – good luck keeping it a secret until then!

Happybabies – I agree – time needs to go quicker! I’m six weeks tomorrow but it feels like I’ve known for months! Its on my mind contantly when I’m at work, but its much easier to forget at home when I’m running after a toddler!

Cars – we recently brought a new Outlander – so excited as it will fit the two seats nicely. I had a small wagon before this but this has much more width. So happy with the purchase so anyone looking at new cars keep this one in mind!

Prams - i don’t think we will bother with a new pram. I just had a stroller type one last time (Silvercross Dazzle) and used a bassinet for the first part when DS was little. I loved that it was so light and it laid right back so DS had no problem sleeping. I have a babybjorn I’ll use at the start too if DS needs the pram or use a trolley as DS is a little obsessed with them.

Also, welcome aboard to all the newbies. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

ASM – just chugging along. Have booked my dating scan in for next Wednesday. I’ll be 6w6d based on LMP so hopefully far enough along for a nice strong heart beat. I don’t think my dates will be any later than that, maybe a few days earlier as I think I O’d early in the cycle. I haven’t got any MS as yet (touch wood) but I have a horrible taste in my mouth 24/7. Nothing seems to make it go away so that makes me feel a little ill but I think I can deal with that!

Congratulations rachaeljane and threelittleindians wonderful news!

A wedding, how exciting bikingbubs!!

GG Enjoy your holiday, I'm sure everything will be fine!

Prams??? Hmm. I have a Phil n Ted which was great but wasn't always ideal in the double mode with a newborn. I'm thinking of getting a mountain buggy duo ( side by side) off eBay. DD will be almost 4 and already prefers to walk but realistically if we are shopping or on a long outing she is still going to need a rest. DH will probably kill me so maybe I'll just get a baby carrier and DD can use pram if she gets tired. I did promise him in my sales pitch for a third baby that I would not need to buy much and just get by with what we have. I sold heaps of great baby items after I had my pigeon pair thinking that would be it, whoops unsure.gif

AFM I had my blood and urine test today, hope all the results come back AOkay. Feeling pretty darn icky today yay rolleyes.gif Bet I'll be less excited about the nausea come this time next week.

Big hello to everyone else.

Hi everyone

Just a quickie from me...I did a digi test this morning with FMU and it came up 'pregnant - 3 weeks+' so 5 weeks+ counting from LMP. I feel a bit more reassured by that and last night's nice, strong dark IC, so that's good.

I also called my GP and she is happy for me to have another blood test, so I will go and collect the referral either later this afternoon or first thing tomorrow, and GP will call me with results ASAP - should only take half a day.

Sorry for lack of personals - am at work - but will try and catch up with you all again before I go on holiday - too excited!!!
