I work nights in a mental health ward that used to be the hospital morgue. Double whammy there.
Honestly most nights I will see something, a movement out of the corner of my eye, a light move across a wall. I have heard sighs, bangs, whispers and a colleague and I both heard a chair slide across a lino floor when there was no-one there. I've had posters fall from the wall, sail through the air and crash into my legs, balloons pop as I walk past them at ungodly hours of the morning.
I never see such things at home, and I'm equally sleep deprived there too. Basically I am quite convinced this place is haunted. I have worked here now for 10 years and don't feel threatened, just a bit creeped out some nights when it is particularly bad.
I had brought my digital camera into work recently to show off some photos. In the middle of the night I thought, "Maybe I should take some photos of the ward and see what appears?" I'll admit I was too frightened to do that.
