Our video (VHS player) has died and the children still watch VHS tapes, I last bought a machine from Target, but they no longer sell them. Any ides where I can get one (don't want the combo with DVD - they are around $350), just a cheapie one!

A quick google suggests ebay is possibly the best option, or check out local no name discount electronics stores.

I'm sure I've seen them at Kmart recently. They are very hard to come by, if you can't find them in the shops I'm sure there are plenty on ebay, or cash converters.

Join your local freecycle group! someone in the community will have one to give you:) And I'm not sure about your op shops but I know Vinnies no longer will accept any electricals.
