hi ladies,
just kind of using this as a vent. it's been one month since mc, and while life goes on around us, and friends go back to expecting everything is all settled again, i'm still feeling in a spin. it's really hard to get your head around the fact that all plans from only a month ago are now over, and you're now expected to just come to terms with that. i feel like we had set up the perfect game of pool, and then someone has come in and taken a shot, and sent all our balls flying all over the place. i'm sure it's normal, but to be honest, screw this for reality. sigh. |

A month after mc I was still totally hormonal. It took a couple of months to start to feel normal again physically, and from talking to friends that's pretty normal. Don't be hard on yourself, it's quite an upheaval that your body (and emotions!) has been through - you are allowed to take some time to heal.

I've just begun my first AF since October last year. I had a D&C early January.
I know how you feel, my life has been turned on its head, and now having AF has really brought it all home again. At the same time its a chance for renewal and to try again - I'm trying to think positive. Look after yourself. |
