How grand it must be, to be the chosen one...
Anyone else watching Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries? I am really enjoying it. Love the 1920's costumes.

Love it! Doesn't Melbourne look stunning?
DH watches it with me and it is really not his type of show but he loves all the old buildings and guessing which ones they are.

And of course pays no attention to Essie Davis wink.gif

It's a good looking piece of Friday night fun. Scripts a bit flimsy but beautifully dressed and shot.

That's a shame caitiri - I had wondered how they'd stack up against the books, I've not read any of them. I must admit I tend to steer clear of tv/movies that come from books I've read - its just never quite the same!

What fresh hell is this?
I watched one and wasn't enamoured - I like the books better and I'm not fond of some of the casting.

But I will say that the costumes and sets are magnificent!

The costumes are fabulous. I think I read they have made 11 episodes, so that will keep me busy on Friday nights for a while.

Only seen the 1st ep, isn't that great. But the costumes and sets are fabulous. Good on Ch 2.
Essie is ok if a bit annoying. I did enjoy watching Miriam Margoyles (legend!!). However Tammy Mac should retire. (she should NEVER have even started )
