I had DD1 at Knox and had a stay at the mother baby unit with her at 6 weeks old at Mitcham. Having some experience at both I would go with option 3 and have your baby at the Angliss. You can still have your own OB but the care you will receive there is far superior to Knox and Mitcham. I had DD2 at the Angliss with the same OB.

I am glad you had a good stay at the Angliss however with an average stay of 24 hours post baby it is not for everyone.
My friends DD delivered there 5 weeks ago and was asked to go home 8 hours after the birth of her first baby because they needed the bed.
She had a once a day home visit from a midwife for 5 days. Not much use when her baby wouldn't attach for every feed sad.gif

Hi Rejoice23
Which hospital did you decide on? I have just found out I am 5 weeks and am trying to decide between Knox and Mitcham so would really be interested in your thoughts.

Hope you are doing well.
Thanks
