Hi
My son is 3yrs old with ASD and has started Melatonin. I was told to start him on 0.25ml which made no difference to his sleep we are now up to 0.5ml which I'm told is quite high and he is still awake all night!!!!! Is anyone having any luck with Melatonin and if so what dose are they giving their child????? Any advice would be appreciated I'm running out of ideas we have tried everything!!!! Ta |

This might seem like a dumb reply - but did you shake it well and are you keeping it in the fridge. Some places don't mix it enough.
If I give it any longer than 15mins before bed he starts to wind up again. So we have a very strict bedtime routine that is nearly never altered. 15mins exactly seems to be ideal. |

Yes they told me to shake it well but not to keep it in the fridge??? That's interesting..... Thanks |
