As the title says has anyone had their child seem to be outgrowing their CMP intolerance only to have it start up again seemingly worse? DS2 was starting to tolerate dairy and has been fine for 4 months with a small amount (maybe 60mls) of cow's milk on his cereal and a some cheese with dinner or a toasted cheese sandwich (yogurt was tiraled and resulted in 3 hours of screaming after 1 tbspn).

The last week and a half he has been throwing up at night and having random upsets during the day. I thought at first it was just gastro but he is seemingly fine during the day but will then throw up sometimes during the night, sometimes multiple times. I finally linked it with having dairy at dinner-time (and the grumpy child for most of the morning with his breakfast but then he was having toast half those days So I didn't really notice ) after DH made rice noodles and veges for dinner for a few nights and no incidents (though we had runs instead from soy) then last night I didn't check the pasta I used for milk solids and threw it all up an hour after going to bed. He also had a huge belly upset from DS1 giving him a corn chip yesterday.

So I guess I am just wondering if anyone has had anything similar happen? I'll be making sure he is completely dairy free again (he still has about 400mls of neocate a day as well), but also he seems to be reacting worse this time, he never used to throw up as a baby (hugely different from my eldest as a baby) just used to scream in pain constantly and not put on weight instead.

We've recently had the same issue, where DD's (3.4 yrs) seemed to go backwards in early March.

She would get a rash around her mouth more often and was getting really itchy on the neck, inner elbows and the backs of her knees. She scratched herself raw.

It turns out it coincided with a BIG growth spurt. Since the growth spurt finished she is back to her old self, but towards the end of the 3 week episode I also put her on Inner Health Plus Kids so I don't know if that helped to relieve the symptoms.
