Welcome to the world Lara, Ella, Asher ansd Sadie and welcome Mummys.
I'm sorry I haven't been in here lately. It seems I may have PND. Things started to go downhill about a 2 months ago. I'm not getting much sleep. Elliot wakes up continuously throughout the night and only catnaps through the day. BF started hurting, he's using his teeth to feed and my nipples are chafed and very sore. I knew something was wrong when I started to retreat from everyone and started to snap at DH. Everything started to irritate me.
I went to see the CHN and she strongly suspects that my PND may have been brought on by lack of sleep and my very sore boobs, so she's given me some techniques to help with getting E to sleep better during the day in the hope that that will help him sleep better during the night. (Not working yet).
I'm now stretching out times between BFs so he's really hungry in the hope that the gnawing will stop. I'm also taking him off and starting again if starts to bite. (this one seems to be working)
Its been a week since I saw the CHN and she's ringing me today to check on progress. Then she'll decide on what our next course of action will be.
Sleeping not better, biting better, but emotionally I still feel that I'm very fragile.
