So is anyone swayed into thinking Gordon Wood is innocent after that interview? I'm not. I actually found he has changed his story from a prior interview I saw from him earlier in the year, and it is cementing it in my mind that he is probably guilty of murder.

No, I don't know why they promoted it so heavily that this interview would change your mind about his innocence. Tony Byrne's book already acknowledged Carolyn's struggle with depression after her mothers suicide, there was nothing new there. Also why couldn't they say that he, Gordon Wood, and an acomplise threw her body that far out? I don't believe him but obviously not enough evidence to convict. Feel very sorry for her family.

I am not familiar with this case, but there was something very dodgy about him. Reminded me of the guy from The Staircase doco, something just not quite right with their stories.

And he used the word 'nonsense' a lot, everything he was defending himself against was just nonsense.

I walked out aften he was asked if he had ever caused her any harm and he answered, "there is no evidence of that". Evasion.

I can't stand to listen to him or even look at him.

Again, sadly, I know the family. I find the interview incredibly insulting on the family's behalf.

Sorry but I am going against the grain here because I think it cemented in my mind that he is innocent. You read into it what you will, I have watched all the media about this and read up about the case too and I don't think he is guilty.
The case against him was flimsy at best but on the otherhand the fact she was suicidal can not be denied.
As tragic and as well written as it was the father's book doesn't sway me. If you read the book I read about Azaria Chamberlain you would think Lindy was guilty too.

It didn't change my mind about him at all. I thought he came across as someone with something to hide. We'll never know though.

We won't ever know for sure but when people are being accused of doing something they are innocent of their behaviour always becomes odd.
Worrying about how what you say is going to be twisted and turned will always make an interview seem awkward.

Agree with this. I don't think he comes across well (sympathetically) in interviews or TV soundbites, but it seems the evidence against him is flimsy at best - certainly flimsy enough for the judges to acquit him.

I honestly still don't know what to think.

I agree that he doesn't come across that well when interviewed but that could just be him being wary of what he says and how it is construed.

or he could be hiding something. I think it will sadly be another case where we will never know.
