I read both. I have a kindle and have been enjoying that for about a year. But I read alot (about 2 books a week) and it was costing me too much so I went to the library a few weeks ago and borrowed a bunch of books. I prefer the kindle though, because it is easier to hold and turn the pages, plus it is easier to find good books thanks to the reviews being right there.
My local library has ebooks for borrowing but not in the kindle format. Though they did say they were getting kindle format books in a year or so, so there's hope there. |

I really love my Kindle. The one and only issue I have is that I like to flick back through what I have read sometimes to check a detail etc.
It's a pain to do it with the ereader. |

People who love reading, love reading. Purchased books, borrowed books, 'found' books, e-books, cereal packets. They all get read. Agreed! Whatever format I find a book in, is the way I read it. Sometimes I borrow from the library, sometimes I'll read on my iPad, sometimes on my phone (if I'm out without my iPad - love those synced bookmarks!), sometimes I buy new books, sometimes a friend will lend me one, sometimes I'll find something at an op shop or the markets... The story is the important thing to me, not the format. What I love is that all of these different formats may get people reading who otherwise would not because now they have so many different options. |

I love reading, and I used to get through several books a week EASILY! Now that I'm a teacher it takes me about 3 months to get through one book

I asked DP to buy me a kindle for my birthday because my grandma had self published a few of her books on amazon and I hated reading on my iPhone. He agreed because he thought it would mean I'd get rid of all my 'real' books which he's sick of packing and then making space for every time we move (which is quite often). He was just a little disappointed when I first refused to do that, and then continued to buy real books...
Don't get me wrong, I do love my kindle, but there is no comparison to a real, smelly book. I use my kindle for free/cheap self published books only - and only because I know how hard most of them are trying to get there books out there, and every purchase/review helps... I did buy 50 shades on my kindle a few weeks ago though as it was late at night and I wanted to read it right then. Was disgusted about it being $9 though when the hard copy of it from book depository is only $10... |

I am very passionate about reading and books I just love it.
Sometimes I read a book in a day, sometimes I read a few chapters and realise it doesn't interest me so I'll put it down and pick up another. Sometimes I have a few books on the go. My bedside table and next to my bedside table there are always books. I used to buy them but I read more than I can afford to buy so I borrow them from libraries. I realy love libraries, they are my zen place. I have no interest in digital or online books or blogs, they just don't do it for me. |
