Little. One - YAY! Awesome news, so happy for you. I must admit I checked in last night to see how you went and was a little concerned when you hadn't updated, but I hoped you were just too busy celebrating a good result! Are they going to refer u to an OB yet or wait a bit longer?

Hope everyone is having a good weekend - mine started well - a 12 hr sleep last night, really needed it

Little one - great news re your scan. I cried too when i first saw the heartbeat from sheer relief. Do you want me to update your EDD from 24 Jan to 26 Jan?

Amy - congrats on your scan. BTW, I would use EPU date (and then just subtract 14 from that to get a fake "LMP") in order to calculate your EDD rather than actual LMP (because the number of days that you stim for can vary but EPU date is undeniable). For now I have updated you on the list and just but both the 26 Jan and 3 Feb until you know more from another scan. Sometimes the scans can be a bit off because we are talking about millimeters and it depends on how good the machine is too.

AFM - I am 10w1d! I am also up 1kg already!! But I guess it is winter and I always put on about 1-2kg over winter anyway. Went out and bought a swiss/medi ball as I am about to get serious about some exercise...well that is the plan anyway. Nausea is starting to ease a little bit and I seem to have more good patches than bad patches. Only 2 weeks and we can tell our family....Yay!

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around in a little while. Work is crazy busy and by the time I get home from work I am too tired to post. I have been reading though.

D&G- I am so sorry to hear your news. Big hugs! I hope you are coping ok xx

Spotty, Amy & little one - so exciting that you got to see your babies and know that everything is going well! That first scan is amazing!!

Spring - wow, twins!!! You must be so excited!! Will you find out the sexes?

Spitzmum - how are you feeling now? Have the flu symptoms subsided yet? I have my second bout of a cold/flu in just a couple of weeks. It's horrible isnt it!! My immune system is definitely very weak ATM. I'm
Kicking myself that I didn't get the flu injection this year. I work with children so I constantly have kids coughing and sneezing all over me!

Cordyline & spitzmum - yay on hitting 10 weeks! I know I was so excited when I hit 10 weeks. It feels like you're almost there!

AFM, I am 11 weeks & 2 days today!! My 12 week scan is on Friday and I am literally counting down the days! I haven't had many symptoms during my pregnancy mainly just tired, sore boobs and nipples. Barely any nausea at all. 4 and a half weeks is a long time to wait between scans so I'm hoping everything is still going ok and that bub is growing and developing normally.

My cold is on the mend - thanks everyone! original.gif Still tired as a result of the pregnancy - but glad to no longer be a sniffle fest and snot factory laugh.gif

pinkblue - oooh - so exciting to have your 12 wk scan original.gif

cordyline - I don't have a scale at home, so I've got no idea whether I've put on any - but my waist has expanded a little - wore my jeans for the first time in about 10 days and I have a little pouch hanging over. Safe to say I won't be wearing those anymore!

wtp - ooh - 12 hrs sounds nice original.gif

AFM, a very cruisy weekend of a bit of housework and cooking stuff for the freezer (for during the week when I feel too tired to cook). I've also had some daytime naps original.gif We are visiting my in-laws today and DH will tell them our news - but asking them to keep it quiet from DH's siblings. And we'll be telling my brother tonight at dinner - very excited about that.

More family drama on DH's side. His sister and brother (and their families) have been slowly pulling away from us over the last few years. As soon as we started earning more $ than them and we built our new house. My SIL always has a backhanded comment for us (she might ask what my parents are up to, and in all honesty, I've told her that they're touring around France for 3 wks and I get an eye roll and "wouldn't it be nice if we all had that sort of money"). Since they moved to a new place in the inner west of Sydney, we asked if we could drop by one day with a house warming gift and she said "I don't think we could fit any people than just us in our place". Then days or weeks later, I see pics on FB of DH's parents and brother's family in their apartment celebrating something or having a get together.

At this point - we don't plan on telling his sister or brother that we're pregnant at all. I'm not fussed - I have a fantastic family, my immediate and my extended cousins etc and they've welcome DH into the fold. DH says that he's not worried about his family as long as he's got mine original.gif

Argh - sorry for the vent sad.gif

Well, it's very exciting for us, but I have finally seen TWO lines on a HPT. BFP.gif we've never had that before in over four years of trying! eexcite.gif

It's still all a bit strange, because we thought this round was a failed FET again, and doc said not to worry about BT because I was clearly having AF. But three weeks later now and there was brown spotting, I've been casually commenting to DH this week that I've been feeling a bit blur,so yesterday I bought a HPT and got two strong lines immediately! And it was done late in the afternoon!

We are due for a scan for next FET this Tuesday, so I'll do another test in the morning and then call my clinic to see what they say. Soooooooo unbelievable, we assumed it was never going to happen after all is time and all the repeat failures.

Yay! biggrin.gif

musical - that is so wonderful that you got to see two lines. Its amazing isnt it? Such strange circumstances though. As much as I hated it at the time, now I understand why my clinic insists on Blood Tests even if you have full blown AF (especially if you require hormonal support).

So how far along are you - let us know how the scan goes and your EDD and I will add you to the list.

spitz - the family dramas sound horrible. I hate drama and gossip and especially hate passive aggressive comments like your SIL made - I dont have the energy for it. Well at least your family is not such hard work.

pinkblue - not long to go for the 12 week scan. So exciting. Oh and I am very jealous of you not having much nausea.
