Listen if you have a link to prove what you are talking about that would be great. I suggest that you don't which is why you keep going with this circular argument. But more than happy to be proven wrong on that one.

Well you suggested wrong. I have several sites that will back up what im talking about which i have been reading because Dh and I decided to do some research regarding a repeat offender who we are waiting for to go to court. But you will only pick them apart like you have done with every post i have written and try and find something that you don't agree with. SO I will just keep my findings to myself, as well as my opinions as you seem to think I don't know what im talking about and need to produce evidence to make you happy..

Paulette - think the accident was after the off-ramp, think he was a km or 2 down the highway on the wrong side? But still, depending on if he only went down commercial rd, or went past VicRoads and out that way (I am not sure which roads and offramp he took), it still would have been no more than about 4 minutes?
Don't hear about police chases down here that often, so I think if the police chose to pursue him, it was because he was already being a real danger - or for more than a traffic infringement.
(On a side note, congrats on your pregnancy, Paulette!)
