I had my wisdom teeth out on the 16th may and today my mouth started to swell again and it is really painful (on a scale of 1-10 it would be a 4-5). Ps I am on my phone so I may not make sense

Not normal. Probably an infection.
Get yourself back to the doctor / dentist.

How are your wounds? are they oozing at all or (sorry this sounds terrible) do you have bad breath? that could be sign of an infection. I would try and get to a GP asap (if you can get into your dentist great but a GP may be faster).

I know when I had mine out I would ocassionally get food stuck in the cavities before they healed, a really good rinse out with water and I used to get a syringe (no needle obviously) fill it with water and piont it at the holes and 'flush' them out. Good luck.

Nope, not normal. After my extraction (I had two - awesome) I got dull pain, on and off, for a few weeks. But it was very light pain - only worth taking a Panadol if it went on for a bit.

My breath isn't bad as it would be with an infection. I have rinsed my mouth with warm water and salt but I might try with a syringe. I'm not ruling out infection as my cheek feels very warm

I had a bad experience & had pain needing 4 hourly nurofen / panadol for 2 weeks, but that was constant, it didnt go away & then come back & I never had swelling, I would be calling the dentist

I just syringed my wisdom holes and all this blood food and puss came out. Tje pain has gone down a lot now and it is managable. All though that side is still hot and swollen I may take myself to the hospital tonight or just wait to see the dr

Yucky - but definitely better out than in. Still see a doctor because it sounds like antibiotics could be needed. Hope that you're feeling brighter today.

Could it be dry socket? This is what I had with my wisdom teeth. I was still in quite a lot of pain afterwards. I went back to the surgery and they prescribed antibiotics.

Were you on antibiotics when they were taken out? I am pretty sure I was put on them as a precaution - although it was a long time ago.

It definitely sounds like you need to see someone asap.
