Mine got infected about 4 days after having them out, went straight on an antibiotic and was fine. It does sound like they are a bit infected.

There's a possibility that the area is infected, which is no big deal, but you will have to head back to your doctor ASAP to get it checked out and some antibiotics.

The same thing happened when I had my wisdom teeth out - everything was all good until my mouth swelled up again with an infection, probably from food falling into the 'holes' where my teeth were removed. I went back to my doc and got some antibiotics and it went down in no time original.gif

Good luck!

I got my teeth out 3 weeks ago and they were starting to hurt, brushed at them really really well with the brush, made them bleed a lot and out came a chunk of food that had been caught in there. Have been doing it every night since now, no more pain, no more bleeding - you need to make sure you keep the area clean and clear
