[/size]I know there have been a few posts about this but I haventseen anything posted thats been recent..My DS is 3 years old & he is talland slim & I struggle to find pants that fit him in length. I know you cannow get pants with the adjustable waist which is great but the issue I have ishe fits a size 2 around the waist (as a 3 is too big even with the adjustablewaist band) but the size 2 pants dont fit him in length.. Arrrrggh!!! Does anyelse have the same problem? & where do you buy pants from? Any suggestionswould be greatly appreciated as my poor little mans ankles are getting cold!!:)

Because I can.
I find the Pumpkin Patch pants are usually pretty long for their sizing, but that's about it for buying here in Australia.

All of mine are quite long and thin and I have always found the Landsend pants which come in a slim fitting, to be great.

They're not cheap, but as we're on different seasons to the USA I nearly always get some great deals from the sale section.

I'm not a bad mum, I'm a good mum with low expectations
We buy DS2 Thomas Cook pants. The quality is extremely high and he fits about a size 2 waist but a size 4 length, they are also adjustable as well so you pull them in to suit. Currently his favorite black jeans are girls Thomas Cook ones and they are very unisex looking. If you are in Melbourne there is a factory outlet near Nunawading station.

Pumpkin Patch had (have?) a $20 jeans sale on atm, all skinny jeans, great for stick insect body type (my nearly 9 year old still wears her size 3-4 undies from years ago rofl... if only I had bought nicer ones)

My DS is nearly 4 and he's a size 0-1 in the waist and a size 4 in length the best fitting adjustable waistbands for him have been esprit and quiksilver. PP, target and a few other brands still hang off his bum and some other brands pulled all the way in still fall off.

I agree about Pumpkin Patch. I have a tall and skinny 3yr old son with about a sz1 waist but size 3 height and I find that certain styles in PP work best for him. I pull them in heaps and they still look fine.

Good luck - very frustrating isn't it? My daughter was the same but I am nearly 6 foot so no wonder!!

My 4.5yr old is average height and really slim, I haven't found anything in Aust yet that fits him, even Pumpkin Patch are huge, Gymboree Slims still fall off him. The best I found was Levi Skinnies that I got from Amazon, they fit like baggies but they pretty much stay on.

In aust we have had most luck with pumpkin patch and Fred Bare. But American brands that offer slim fits are best
Good luck
