.
My DH has an aunty who believes that if a babies crown (the swirl part of the hair) is on the right of the centre of the head your next child will be a girl and if it's on the left it will be a boy.

Now I need more proof, my DS1 crown is on the right and DD2 is on the right also. Does anyone want to prove me wrong with their children?? Just a bit of fun I suppose laughing2.gif

I hope that this makes sense wink.gif

My first DS isnt home so I cant check him.
My DS2 has crown to the right and third child is a girl. Mind you they are 13 years apart. Your theory is correct with my two here.

DD1 crown on RHS
DS2 crown smack bang in middle
DD3 crown on RHS
DS4 crown on RHS not that it matters because we are done!

So my family throw the theory out the window!!!

DS1's is on the right and the presence of a penis on my next child would suggest the theory is wrong...

French toast please!
My youngest DD has two as well, one on each side. We're not having any more kids but maybe I would have had twins next tongue.gif

DH has his on the right and his next sibling was a sister.

However, I think it's a bunkum theory!

ETA: However, there has been some interesting research about hair swirls on animals. It was to do with character traits rather than siblings, though. Apparently, guide dogs with counter-clockwise swirls were twice as likely to graduate guide-dog school than those with clockwise. http://www.abc.net.au/catalyst/stories/3465535.htm

So you could freak out your auntie about the direction, rather than location of the swirl...
