This semesters unit is Ancient Rome. I am so out of my depth sad.gif

Its supposed to be a beginner unit. I think I'm the only beginner. I wanted so much to love this unit but I don't.

Me? Or the OP?

I'll answer anyway. biggrin.gif I'm doing a BA majoring in ancient history. From memory the OP is doing either the same or something very similar.

I'm doing a BA. I chose most of my electives from Ancient History because its always fascinated me. I need to get into the right head space, which is the same with most mature aged students when starting their first semester. Finding that groove.

~Nodnol~ - is Rome the series that was on tv a couple of years back? Is it helping at all? I can watch tv/docs easier than reading textbooks.

It helps a little to place government positions. And it also helps with understanding how events unfolded.

Plus- James Purefoy is gorgeous. wink.gif
