I second looking into a hypnobirthing or calm birth class. I just finished my hypnobirthing classes and LOVED them. We have learnt some incredible techniques to relax and let go of anxiety. Lots of pain management techniques and general education about labour and birth.
We do a reading together each night (well, I lie down and relax and DH reads to me!) and it's been really lovely for bonding and I know baby can hear DH's voice as well, which makes it a nice 'family' bonding time for us each evening before I go to sleep. Good luck with whatever path you choose! |
