No I dont feel too guilty - both DH and I like to spend time exercising - Its my "ME" time.

Off to google scissor kicks.......

Went for a long walk with friends yesterday - felt amazing. Food still going well - I did enjoy a couple of wines last night though.

lexi - Its hard when people are negative about weight loss. A few years ago (pre-kids) I lost about 5kg to get me back to high school weight and my best friend was really negative about it. Later on she was honest with me and said she was a bit jealous that I'd been able to do it as she always lost motivation after a couple of kilo's. So sometimes its more about them.

I'm trying to think of something to do today. Both boys are sick so I don't want to take them to the park to pass it on to other kids, but I don't want to stay inside all day either.

Good Morning original.gif

This is day three, and normally the point where I start to slip LOL (how sad is that) but I'm feeling very motivated and focussed and I don't feel like I'm searching for junk to eat at every turn, so that's a start! I'm off to the pool tonight if all goes according to plan, just going to walk laps tonight and see how it goes.

Lexillotti I think we were in a group together at one stage original.gif thanks for the congrats too happy.gif

Challenges What are the challenges?

Better get out of my PJ's and get these kids off to school.

Mic

Starting to see some movement (the right way) in the scales.
Down 1.3kg since the start of this (1.0kg MFP). Long way to go but definitely moving in the right direction.

Endomondo Challenge Results

HKClaire 1st 77.47km
Matt 2nd 59.05km
BC 3rd 35.07km
DW 4th 23.37km
AA 5th 20.61km

Great job Claire!
I never would have imagined that I would move 60km in a month, unless it was on a bike!

I will set up another one today and hopefully we get more takers for August.

Well done Matt. Much better to have a slow start but make it sustainable.

Scissor kicks done, and a set of hundreds while I was in position. I'm enjoying the challenges, just gets me moving a bit more, ESP on my rest days.

Mickey, challenges are just an exercise nominated by someone to be done in the day. You can take all day if you like. Today is scissor kicks 2 sets of 30.

Im up to week 5 of C25K and today is my 20 min run, so wish me luck. I am pleased with the improvement in my fitness, so I'm hoping I won't collapse on the side of the road!!

Have a good day all

OK Matt I'll be in the next challenge. It's good to see you are heading in the right direction. My weight loss on mfp is counting from when the 1 million kilo challenge started so I'm really happy with that.

Bad day yesterday, I really shouldn't drink wine! 1 glass and some very bad choices are made!

Hello to everyone. Don't give up now MickeyBoo there are only a few weeks left in the challenge!

Oooh Matt, we have a challenge logo! laughing2.gif I often forgot to turn it back on after a river play/park play so it only half way of my walks. I'm going to remember this time. I don't like coming last for goodness sake wink.gif

TT- ah yes, me and wine don't mix at all!! But I haven't had that problem with bourbon, even if I feel like I should be in a dirty smoky pub sometime in the 90's.

Mickeyboo- stay strong for day 3! It's worth it. I need to keep telling myself that, I can notice changes and I need to keep those in mind and how much better it feels. Then I think of summer being just around the corner, and I'm not too fussed with how I look, but there is a lot uncomfortable about being fat in summer.
