Hi Ladies,

I have seen on the baby whisperer a bottle she uses for breastfed babies - it's longer and thinner than a typical bottle and the teat is different.... apparently to make the babies work like they do for breastmilk. Any ideas where to start looking for one??

I have 5 months to get one so could even order from os if I need to. (after b/feeding for almost 5 years non stop, I'm a little eager to have a day off here and there with this surprise baby!!)

thanks,
Juliette

Hi there

I think it's called the Hagerman or something like that. It's made by Medela and I have only ever seen one chemist stock it - it might have been Amcal, not sure. I think you either have to do the rounds of the chemists and ask if they'll order, or otherwise try epharmacy.com.au or another online store?

I would have liked to have used it too when I saw the Baby Whisperer, because we had so many probs breastfeeding in the beginning. It might have helped DD latch on better and sooner than she did, as she was a very lazy sucker.

Good luck finding it - it might take a little effort, but it's definitely available in Australia.

p.s. it's called the Haberman Feeder - try www.medela.com.au to call for a stockist.
