Has anyone used 'stikaround' nursery decorations (or something similiar)? They peel on and off the wall.

They sound like a good idea but I want to be sure they don't damage the walls as we have just painted them and don't want to have to go through that again in the near future!

I have just removed my 'peel on peel off" nursery stickers and I must say I have a lot of plastering to do. With the smaller stickers I managed to remove them with little to no damage but the larger ones were the problem, the paint came away with them in large areas. I took them off to re-paint the room so really I'm not to concerned but personally I wouldn't put them on freshly painted walls.

Hey,
i used the Peter Rabbit Wallies that you can buy - they come in heaps of different nursery prints and you put them on with a sponge and take them off the same way - you would never know they were there and that was on freshly painted walls.
You can ge tthem at spotlight etc...they were GREAT!!

We had the stick on border and the stick on Pooh Bear wall ups. The border was terrible. When we were taking it off flakes of paint came with it!

The wall ones were great, in fact moved house and put them up again (the same ones!)

i bought a stickaround border for lexie's room, for the same reason. we have a brand new house, and her room is only temporary - for the first 2 years. i was impressed with how well it peeled off when i stuck it up crooked - but that was basically an instant removal.. they recommend warming the adhesive with a warm iron if you have difficulties later on down the track.

I have used the stikarounds twice now and I love them.

No paint came off when I removed them and they restick beautifully each time I decide to rearrange one of my boys rooms.

I've got the Winnie the Pooh stickarounds in Mitchells room and I love them. I have peeled them off heaps of times now and they don't leave any sort of mark (which is good cause I've got a super fussy DH who would kill me).

Does anyone know where I can buy the Classic Pooh ones? I think they're called Stick Arounds or Stick Ups? I want to buy some as a gift now, and for myself in the future (hopefully sooner rather than later!)

Went to Bunnings and Target in the weekend but Bunnings didn't have them, and Target had only one packet of Disney Pooh Jumbo stickups.

Also, can they be stuck onto furniture?

I have seen some at Baby Bunting and I am pretty sure Babyco have them as well.
Also type stickarounds into the search engine www.google.com.au and there are some internet stores where they can be bought.

I found a big range of classic pooh at spotlight, the other good place is paint and decorator shops, like Bristol.
