Hi all,

I took DS (16 months old) to a homeopath to get some
drops to fix his eczema. I gave them to him and that
night he was sooo unsettled, woke up 4-5 times which
he never does and was scratching like mad at his
eczema which he also never does. Anyone else had an
experience like this or know anything about it?
I was told by the homeopath that the drops could make
his eczema flare up and cause him to be a little more
irritable than normal, but my gut feeling just says
that this wasn't right! I would appreciate any
comments or advice! Thanks so much.

Cheers

Anna

Hi Anna

Although this might seem strange it is a normal reaction for homeopathic treatment. Homeopathy works on the principle of 'like treats like' which means simply that what causes the problem also cures the problem. In homeopathic medicine the treatment is for the symptoms not the illness

This reaction in reponse to the treatment is only at the begining and should not last.

Hope this helps Molly
