I have posted this elsewhere with no replies sad.gif

I have just bought a Mountain Buggy Carrycot off ebay. As lovely and clean as it appears, I would still like to freshen/disinfect it. The whole cover comes off as does the hood. Do you think I could handwash it - maybe with woolmix - and leave in the sun to dry? If I use warm water will it shrink???? Thanks
Any other suggestions? smile1.gif

Hi Flipflop. original.gif I recently lent our MB Urban carrycot to my sister and I washed it successfully before giving it to her as it had been in storage for a year.
I personally found it a bit of a mission to take the covers all off but once I did I just chucked it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle (cold water). It came up great and I hung it to dry inside on a clothes rack in case it shrunk or faded in the sun (I doubt either would have happened though!). It fitted back on perfectly and I didn't notice any shrinkage. I washed everything this way: the hood, covers and mattress. Hope this helps! original.gif
