Any ideas what i can get my sister in law when she has her second baby boy in July - she has absolutely everything and being family the present needs to be nice?
Tan72
I buy all new babies the "Guess how much I love you" book. It is such a beautiful little story.

If they have that already - I get the "My baby book" that you record all your bubba's milestone in that is based on "Guess how much I love you".

Makes shopping a breeze and you don't have to think...

Thanks. Does anyone else have any ideas?

I'm not sure this is what you are really looking for but we have thought of buying SIL a subscription to "Practical Parenting" or similar. BUT I did also see a gorgeous set of silver trinket boxes "My first curl" & "My first tooth" that can be engraved!.

wandaroo a great presant that we receved was a hand print kit where you can make your own ceramic hand or foot print. i know you can buy the royal doltan kits from myer in the baby section for around $16. this is something that is individual for each baby and a great reminder of just how much they have grown.
other ideas include
bottle of wine - we bought our nephew a bottle of red when he was born (that was released the year he was born)that he could drink at his 18th or 21st - you do need to make sure you get one that will last.
something to keep the birth certificate in.
something personalised ie a towell or blanket with the baby's name on it.
name plaque for the baby's room.
hope these help will keep thinking.

Two things we got which were different but great as keepsakes was the baby coin set for the year of birth from the Australian Mint in Canberra (can order online) and the other was a teddy bear from Harrods in England embroidered with the year she was born - they put out one bear a year and you can order them online.
Thanks
