If you or your church has a bit of a budget you could try getting hold of some Noomas. They are short films on dvd (about 10 mins long) which address topical issues, particularly relating to young people. They are quite 'cool' if that makes sense! They come with a booklet that poses some questions for a group setting, but it's not over the top, just something to get discussion started. It refers to the bible in relation to each topic, but I wouldn't call them bible studies as such. Make great viewing though and really make you think! Check out Koorong website I'm sure they'll have them.

http://orders.koorong.com.au/search/search...ion=go&src=mainIn terms of great sermons I saw one recently on prayer which really blew me away. It was just about how overlooked prayer is and yet when you look at the figures of church growth and where the gospel has gone out in the world, it directly relates to strong prayer movements. Something like that might encourage your young group to focus on prayer or start a prayer group up at church.
A good resouces is a very small cheap booklet by Stuart Robinson - Supernatural Growth: The Prayer of Obedience. It's $4.95 at Koorong. Complicated sounding name but it basically just looks at different areas of the world and how Christianity has spread through prayer. For example, how huge Christianity is getting in Korea, and how it directly relates to how much they are praying over there (they get up at 4am to pray daily whereas in many churches here no one attends the prayer meetings!). It's definitely a great way to encourage people to spend more time focusing on prayer, over and above everythign else - something that I'm sure young peopel find challenging (I do!).
