Hi,

DD is being baptised on Sunday and we are putting together a few powerpoint slides of photo's to be used during the service. The final slide, I was hoping to include a short relevant quote from the bible - maybe about children but are open to other idea's, but for some reason I have a complete block tonight and can't think of anything suitable? Can anyone help with some suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your assistance,
HollysAngel95
This one caught my attention as I'm slowly working toward making a scrapbooked album of my twin nieces baptism earlier in the year. I've stumble across a couple that I'll put in here for you - not sure if they're what you're looking for. Not even sure if they're what I'm looking for unsure.gif !

1.
Dear Father
Watch over your child (INSERT CHILD'S NAME)
By your light guide him to seek wisdom and understanding.
With your strength protect him.
And through your grace lead him to know and do your will.
Grant him, Dear Father,
Unwavering grace with each day's sunset;
Renewed hope with each sunrise;
And a heart filled with your infinite love.
Amen

2.
Children are sweet miracles
sent by God above
To fill the world with goodness
and the blessings of his love

3.
Every child born into the world is a new thought of God, an ever fresh and radiant possibility. (Kate Douglas Wiggins)

4.
Please God...
Grant this little child Your love
As each new day appears,
Grant the parents guidance
And wisdom though out the years -
Smile down upon this christening
And in Your loving way
Let Your presence gently bless
This little one today.

5.
Baptism or Christening Poem
Blessings on the little children,
Sweet and fresh from Heaven above,
May their days be filled with beauty,
May they grow in truth and love.
Lord, bless this tiny infant
Who will make the world so fair -
Keep this precious little life
Forever in Your care.

Not sure how religious you're making it - that's something that I'm having difficulty finding a balance with my nieces album but tried to include a range for you. If nothing else they might spark you off into the right direction with something of your own.

Good luck and hope the day goes off really well for you.
