Just thought I would start a thread for all the pregnant NT mums and anyone else who is interested. There seems to be a few of us around. Feel free to add questions etc.
Name: Kristy
Partner: Ben
Due date: 14 march 07
preg with baby #: 3
area: Palmerston
other kids: twin girls, turning four in november
I was also thinking we could have a pregnant mums meet up, if anyone is interested in meeting with other pregnant EBer's. And of course everyone else is welcome to come as well.
Let me know if you are interested.
Also wanted to add that my EB due in April group is flat out, and i find it really hard to keep up, if anyone else is feeling the same, we could use this thread as a buddy group.

Yes we love these Oct/Nov babies !! Not to mention nephew inlaw is 7 no 29 Oct too. Grandma just loves us !
I'm not really interested in meeting up yet cos I just feel so bleh and unless I'm at work (monday & friday) I just sludge around and take it easy. I will await the OB appt on Wednesday to see what is going to happen ie if miss muffet has turned or book in for a c/s

Anna~ Good luck at your appointment on Wednesday
Alicia~ I guess we will wait and see if we can get a few more people in here and work out the best day for the majority.
I am having trouble eating lately. I hate the thought, smell and look of food. It's really annoying, because all i want to do is get back into cooking again. I am on the hunt for a single jogger. A bit early i know but i have never bought a single pram before so i am shopping around to see what is available up here.
Hope to see a few more of you pregnant ones in here soon!

I'm up for a meet up, but due to work, weekends are the only viable times for me.
Saw my midwife today. All is well. Took her a while to find bubs heartbeat, so I got a bit worried for a minute. But all is well, bub had run away and was hiding down by my left hip. Heart beat steady and strong.
Kristy - poor you, not being able to eat. I can et just about everything, although I almost threw up eating a prune the other day.
I'm craving full cream milk at the moment. I've gone through 3 litres in 2 days at home, plus about a litre a day at work. I don't think I'm calcium deficient, I've been making sure I get enough. I guess there are worse things to crave.
Alicia - Hi, great to meet another pg nt mummy.
Anna - hope your appt goes well tomorrow, and that bubs has turned.

Hello ladies
Hi Marie, Congratulations.
Georgia~ how long will you work for? Do you get a set week, or does the navy just go by what your doctor says?
Last pregnancy I was craving Orange juice, but it had to be the Just Juice brand. I was drinking about 3 litres a day. Apart from that all i craved was heaps of really cold fruits, like mango, pineapple, watermelon. This time is much the same, except I am finding that i am alot less tolerant of food in general, from what I can remember anyway. Yesterday I had a feed of red rooster chips, they tasted so good, and that is something i usually just can't bare to eat.
What cravings is everyone else having??
Kristy
anna-wa
11/10/2006, 07:59 PM
I've been a total pig. Even when i'm full i'll have more of something else. THAT's my craving lol.
I've been into the fruit though. When I go to Casuarina I like to have an All Berry Bang from Juice Boost. Today I had a mixed berry smoothie from Gloria Jean which was very yummy yet pricey.
The tree across the road has mangoes which the neighbours shook down so I have some ripening in the cupboard and have been having two a night. I have never ever bought a mango myself so this is a treat. Even the kids have caught onto the taste of mangoes.
I bet i've put on a heap of weight but hopefully will lose it over the months.
edit: georgia, I've made a post in the 'general chat' thread which is pinned (at the top of the page). Yes bub has turned .. *sigh of relief*.

Kristy - I've a set week, which is not the norm in the navy. Defence medical rules say that when you're pg, you can only work a max of 40 hours a week, and can't stand up for more than 4 hours a day. So I work mon-fri, and no weekends. Normally I'd have to work one day of a weekend a month, as well as the normal mon-fri. In my previous unit (with anna's husband), because we were at sea a lot, and our routines were all over the place, if I was in the office, and there wasn't a lot on, then we could "work from home".
Anna - I can't believe you've only got 2 weeks to go. Does Sharon still think bubs will come before your due date (or you inducement date?). Your pg has gone sooo quickly, it feels like only yesterday that Bart was telling us that you were pg.
I have to say I have never been a fan of mangoes. There are heaps at work though, so many trees!
Having issues with one of the civvy chefs at work. He reckons he's been head chef at lots of fancy restaurants. But he's now working for serco, and can't cook for peanuts. My 4 year old niece could have to do a better job. I wrote a menu for the mess (the chefs were just cooking whatever they wanted) in the hope he's cooking would improve (I've even got in lobster tails hat cost $650 a carton), but no such luck. Hopefully we can move him on soon. I've offered to take over cooking lunch at the mess, but I won't be able to wear my chef's uniform for much longer, and we're not garunteed to always have another navy cook at the mess.
Anyway, that's my rant... the most stressful aspect of my life at the moment. Thought I was getting DH back tomorrow, but now it's not until next friday. As long as he's back in time for our Fiji holiday (monday week), I'm happy.
Well this was meant to be a short post, but my fingers have a mind of their own, LOL.
Have a good weekend everyone, Kristy, have fun at play shack.

Georgia~ Sounds like the navy look after pregnant mums pretty well. I wish someone would tell me im only allowed to stand up for 4 hours a day

So will you work all the way up until bub is born?
Anna~ I wish i could eat like you say you have been!! I just can't eat unless it is exacty what i feel like at that moment. I am still putting on heaps of wieght though, not sure how, probably because i am resting more than usual. Talking about those smoothies made me really start craving one of those pured ice fruit cups from the market,.....does anyone remember them?
I am going to find out about the pregnancy class at the health center, it has some yoga and just other hany info there. I will post it on here when i find out. Probably too late for you Anna, but I hope everything is going well for you. I bet you just want it all over with now?
Play shack was good this morning, nice and quiet, the girls had a ball, but were so tired by the time we left.
I feel so unpregnant still, some times i have to stop and think if this is really happening or not.
Alyssa and Tiana keep telling me they have a baby in their belly too, and it makes them too full to eat all of their dinner

Good try girls!
Hope you are all well

Hey All,
Got back from a week in Fiji on sat night. Was absolutely wonderful!
Any news yet anna? Bart sent me an sms last night saying still nothing. I'm surprised the inducement didn't work. I guess bubs will come when she's good and ready.
I been feeling bubs move for almost 2 weeks now. I get so excited everytime I feel it.
Delivery truck has just turned up at work, gotta run.
Hope everyone is well, and not suffering too much in the build up.

Well done Anna! and Welcome to baby Eve.
what stage is everyone at now? I am in week 17, and have an u/s next week. I have been feeling movements for a few weeks now, much earlier than I did with the girls.
Alyssa and Tiana turned 4 on the weekend, and had a party, we were all worn out buy sunday night.
Still searching for rentals here, I just wish we could hurry up and get something we want!
Hope you are all well.

It's a boy!
I had my 19 week scan today, and after saying we were going to wait for a surprise, we decided to find out we are having. Quite surprised, as I was sure it was a girl, but Dr miller said it's 100% a boy, and it won't be changing anytime soon. Anyway, just as happy with it being a boy, as long as it's healthy, we're happy.
Hope everyone's pg's are going well.

Georgia, good to know everything is going well. I definitely can't wait to find out the gender, no surprises for me. I'm certain this one is a boy as well, but I will feel like a bit of a nut if its another girl
Either way I will be happy, I just want to know. If its a girl good, because I already have heaps of girl stuff. If its a boy, good because that means my instincts were right, and it also means I get to buy lots of boy things!!
I have been having heaps of kicks and movements, I hadn't felt a thing at this stage with the twins. I have had some sort of reflux or something, and the other night it got worse ad worse until i was blacking out, sweating, shaking, vomiting, hallucinating, crying.... the pain wasn't even describable. Ben called the hospital to make sure we wouldn't have to wait at A&E, and the sent an ambo. they gave me more mylanta, (which i had taken 3 times already, and spewed up) and the pain started going away within 10 mins. So i have to find out of Dr Miller if there is something better I can take for it. I have had it quite a bit this pregnancy, just not that bad.
Well thats enough from me for now.
I hope everyone else is going well.
Ellejaye, good luck on monday, let us know how you go.

Congrats Georgia !
Georgia met our little Eve on Saturday night at the Tracey Village Sports Club. She had a bottle when we got there and slept during the whole few hours we were there. Noone got to have a cuddle unfortunately.
Georgia now has a little footy sized bump happening. Well half a footy.

lulu, what a horrid event you went through. Hope you're feeling ok now. You know I couldn't imagine carrying twins as having to deal with one bub in the belly at night was enough. I do hope Dr Miller can help you.

Hello Hello
I had my 18 week u/s today. It took an hour and a half. Baby didn't want to stay still at all. We found out the gender but I can't really post it on here

in case of some spying eyes
We don't think we are going to tell everyone, maybe just a couple people. Although in my family I expect it will travel pretty fast after one person knows!
I also found out I can take the reflux tablets that should really help, or so Dr Miller says.
Anna- my pregnancy with the twins was a dream compared to this one

Not that I have really had a hard time, but I think i was expecting the second time to be easier, and especially since it is only one bub this time.
It was very cool to be able to see everything on the u/s, without extra arms and legs getting in the way.

Hi girls
Yay Georgia a boy is on the way, but you are right, sex doesn't matter as long as it's healthy!
Wow Kristy you know the sex and wont tell us!!!! If I PM you will you tell me

Cheeky I know but hey I love secrets like that!
Well scan went well and apt with Dr Mitchell was excellent, we got to see bubs again which was wonderful! Everything seems fine and if anything pops up from the bloods Dr Mitchell will ring us, otherwise it's just waiting again till 13th Dec. We also booked in for our 19wk scan on 29th Dec so I have between now and then to decide if we want to findout the sex. That's a tough one, but I'm definitely leaning towards knowing!
Catch you all later

G'day Girls! I just posted in the Introduction thread, but was most keen to join this one. Basic info first:
Name: Kristen
Partner: DH is Army and is almost halfway through 8-month O/S deployment.
Due Date: Valentine's Day (Feb 14th) - before DH gets back of course.
Pregnant with Baby #1
Area: Durack
I won't try and do personals in this post (even though I already feel like I know you

), but will in future. I just wanted to get back into EB after a long absence (haven't posted at all since I found out we're expecting - was a bad bad lurker before that). I like the idea of using this as a BG coz the Due In ones are so hard to keep up with and I would loooooove to meet up. Don't care when, I'll just fit it in somehow.
I'm glad some of you already have children - can I pick your brains for advice please?

My story so far:
At 28 weeks I was just starting to feel really good. I had a very frustrating first 5.5 months of throwing up so much I was on medication (which was useless I must say) and lost 8kgs in 6 weeks (although that's not healthy, I'd been trying to lose exactly that much for ages so thankyou baby! At six months preg I still weigh less that I did before!). Then yesterday I had a midwife appt to get my Anti-D injection, and found out I failed the GCT miserably. Bugger. I really really really don't want to take the GTT next week. The GCT made me feel really sick and sooo dizzy they had to carry me to the bed and then I couldn't move for two hours. The pathology lady doing the test said then that she'd have serious words for Dr Miller if he made me do the two hour test. So much for that. I had a little bit (Ok, a lot) of a cry about it yesterday and luckily DH called last night. I never know if I should tell him this kind of stuff coz he's away and can't do anything about it and I don't want him to be over there worrying about me, but anyway of course I did. I don't know if I'm more worried about having Gestational Diabetes and its effects on the baby, or if I'm just panicking about the stupid test. Did any of you go through a similar thing? How did you calm yourself down?
OK, I'm starting to work myself up again. Grr stupid hormones. So I'll finish on a positive note. I had to laugh Kristy when you said your 18 week scan took 1.5 hours because bub wouldn't stay still. Mine took 4.5 hours because the stubborn little rascal wouldn't move and the technician couldn't get a pic of the spine! The technician and a trainee tried poking and prodding me (Ouch), I lay on my belly and jiggled up and down, I ate something, I went for a drive over lots of speed humps and I sang to her and finally she turned. The technician laughed and said "yeah, good luck with that stubborn baby!". But then the next day when I saw Dr Miller I wanted to find out the sex (Dh wanted to know because he won't be here for the birth) so I asked her very nicely if she would please let us see clearly and she did! Yay! We've nicknamed her "Gess" - short for Gestation
Okey dokey, I'd better finish now. Sorry, but you might just have to get used to long rambling posts from me. Look forward to chatting to you all!
Take care of yourselves and bubs!
Kristen

Hi Kristen, It will be good to have someone else in here to ramble with, i seem to just talk to myself a lot lol.... I'll add you to the list.
My DP isn't in the army anymore, but i can relate to you being pregnant and having your DP away.
I;m with DR Miller also, and was for my girls aswell, i have found him fantastic.
I will be 20 weeks tomorrow and have my next appointment on Friday. I've had a couple more reflux problems and have been put onto some tablets to sort that out. WE have been deseratly trying to find a house, and missed out too many times, or can't find what we like. Today we have found an ideal place but i'm just trying not to get my hopes up incase it is already gone

fingers crossed. It is available NOW and we want to move asap, so i really hope we get it. I really want a/c in the living area now, and a pool again, i miss it!
Anyway i better go, this is getting a bit long. take care everyone.

Thanks for the welcome Kristy!
How'd you go with the place you found? Hope you got it. We've never had a pool but my goodness I would love one about now! I go to Aqua Aerobics at the Palmerston Leisure Centre a couple of evenings a week and really enjoy it but the water can get a bit warm (since it's not raining... what's going on with that?). One of my pregnancy books says you shouldn't exercise in environments above 26 degrees. Umm, obviously not written for people in our climate! Anyone else doing the pregnancy exercise classes at DPH on Thursdays?
Anything happening re meeting up? Or are we postponing it till January?
With Belly rubs,
Kristen

Hi Kristen.... looks like its just you and I in here LOL.
I have had dramas with trying to get to view the house we want, because they like to wait until they have a few people to show through at the one time. They wont let us put an application in to be pre approved, untill we have seen the property inside, etc etc, very annoying. so all i can do is wait.
The aqua aerobics is a good idea, eventhough the water isn't too cool, better than exercising out of the water!
I am meant to be doing some class thingy at DPH but i haven't heard back about it. I want to do the one which is just for 1 whole day, rather than once a week for an hour or 2.
I know Georgia is keen for a meet up ...wherever she is, MIA. As soon as i have a darn house i will be happy to have something at my place. Otherwise maybe January will be good! Surely i will have somewhere by then

We got a house!!!
Finally, I am sooo relieved. It pretty much has everything we wanted. 4 bedrooms, seperate living and dining, fully a/c, BIR's, plunge pool, some lawn, a fenced yard and a shed!
We got onto this one before it was advertised, im so glad we got it, and just in time for Christmas. The lease is signed and we start moving on Friday. So we will be moving all weekend, and then my family arive on the wednesday.
Anna I would love to meet Eve, she is so cute.
Our OB appointment went well, nothing new to report really. Dr Miller has booked me in for a c/s on the 5th of April, but we have still not ruled out a vbac, I just have to keep looking into it.

7 weeks (tomorrow)
Spanner is in the works becuase this was not planned although Dean is stoked and why wouldn't he be, he's not he pg one.
I have the NT and blood scan on the 15th Jan.

lulu .. good going with the house. Plunge pool .. noiiiice. Ok everyone meet at lulus place for a plunge ! lol
'some lawn' is better than 'no lawn'. You might need a manual mower .. ya know those ones without motors.

I'm so pleased you finally have a house. YOu didn't mention what suburb it's in.
Now Christmas, we have the inlaws coming.
looselipslou has a spanner !! now thats a new term for baby. congratulations.
I met up with Rohan yesterday for a coffee. It's a shame she is moving. My kids got on well with Harley too !

LOL don't joke about it Anna....we DO have a motorless mower!!
Its enough lawn for the kids to play and to have the swings etc set up, and undercover concrete, so i am happy with that. Oh and lots of exploring 'jungles' for the girls too, they have alrey mentioned that.
IT's in Gunn, but right next to the bakewell school, which is another handy point!
Fritzey good to hear from you!
Cindy, Congratulations again. I new you would come and join me in here

Felt like sh*t yesterday, couldn't cut a straight line so cutting hair was not worth my while so I came home at 1:30. Felt a lot better today and lasted the distance. Just after christmas I think I am going to cut it down to only 4 days a week. Even though I am not as bad as I was with Ronan, I don't really need to work as hard as I did for the money now, so won't.

Hi Girls
Congrats on the pregnancy Kristen, I go to the DPH classes religiously every Thursday! I love them, but the only bad thing is that this Thursday is the last one coz Jules (instructor) is off on hols for a few weeks. Classes recommence on the 11th Jan if anyone else is interested. It's $6.00 per class. Very very low impact, but I've been told all the right moves for birth and after.
Yay Lulu you got a house! That's so exciting well done and in time for rellies and xmas!!!
Congrats on the 'Spanner' Cindy

Very cute reference!
Hi Georgia, hope the chrissy party went well! I'm finding I'm way too tired lately to feel like socialising LOL
All is going well with me, we have another Ob apt on Wed so can't wait to see bub's again. We are going to find out the sex if we can, but I'm not holding my breath because A) I hear that baby has to comply (show off) and B) some Ob's wont committ to telling before 19wks. So we'll just have to wait and see.
I'm still working full time so probably wont be able to get to a meet during the day, but hey keep me informed of when and where and I'll see what I can do!

Hi Girls,
Another quiet weekend for me. I finally put my christmas tree up. I had to buy new decorations as a family of mice made a home in my decorations (downstairs in my storeroom, not in the house thankfully!), so all the old ones went in the bin, box and all.
The work xmas party went ok, I got a bottle of massage oil as my secret santa present. Only stayed for about 2 1/2 hours as it's hard being out with sailors, and being the only one not drinking.
DH comes home sometime this week, then only has another week long patrol before xmas. The way the crews rotate on the new boats, he shouldn't have to go to see again until early feb, and then he's taking leave from the end of feb for 10 weeks to help me finalise all bubs stuff, and to make sure he's home in case bubs comes early (fingers crossed he won't).
Have an appointment with my midwife tomorrow, can't wait to hear bub's heartbeat again. I know he's doing well in there from all the cooking he does, but I love hearing his heartbeat, I could listen to it all day.
Anyway, that's enough of a novel for me. Hope everyone has a good week.

Been fairly quiet here too. I've bought thoswe stoopid looking anti-sickness wrist bands. You'd think they make them in various skin tones wouldn't you! Nah, grey looks nice on my pale skin - NOT!!! Seems to be working a treat though, not been ill since wearing them, I look stoopid but hey, I do that just fine on my own anyway. Rememnds me of the "Rock Steady Crew" ROFL

.
I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow.

Hi Gals and bumps! Thanks for the welcomes!
All settled in your new house and sitting back in the plunge pool relaxing Kristy? Glad to hear you found a place so perfect.
How's little Eve doing Anna? She's so beautiful. I hope you're both doing well and I can't wait to actually meet you both hopefully in the new year!
Sorry they changed your posting at the last minute Fritzey - don't you hate that! Hope to see you up here eventually though - actually, by 2009 we probably won't be here anymore, but anyway
Congratulations on your little 'Spanner' Cindy (very cute nickname for it by the way)! Glad the sickness bands are working for you. I could have just given you the ones I bought and saved you the money - they made me feel worse not better. Anyone else want to try some sickness bands?
Georgia, I hear you about having fun at work (esp. military) X-mas parties when you're the only sober one! Actually, I've gotten used to it finally. Hope you have a nice appointment with the midwife today. Let us know how it goes!
Thanks for letting me know the exercise classes finish this week Elle. I won't go until after Xmas anyway coz I'm doing the actual prenatal class until then and it's on Thursdays too (in the same room at 7pm). Hopefully I'll see you at the classes in January though! Good luck with your appointment tomorrow - hope bubs cooperates and you can see the sex (although maybe it is a bit too early to be sure).
I had another appointment with Dr Miller on Friday. All's well and baby is measuring 31 weeks (I was only just 30 weeks) - that doesn't actually mean anything though does it? I mean, she's not more likely to be early is she?
I passed the GTT - YAY!!!!!!!!!! So happy I celebrated with lots of naughty sugary things I wouldn't have been able to eat had I had GD. I sincerely hope none of you have it!
I also got to go to my first antenatal class. Very interesting. We concentrated on things that happen after the birth and for the first 6 weeks. There seems to be an awful lot of stress on how difficult the first 6 weeks are - I'm getting a bit nervous coz hubby won't be back here to help me until about 8 weeks. Argh. The next class is the one that's supposed to be scary though - the actual birth bit. For some stupid reason I'm really excited about that one and not a bit nervous! I've decided I'm more scared of the pain relief options than I am of pain. The thought of gas just freaks me out, as does a needle in my back (anywhere else is fine, just not in my back or my feet please)! I'm sure I'll get over those fears when it comes down to it though!
Hope all of you have a good day!

Wow, there has never been so many posts between 2 of my own, lol, you can tell i have been away for a few days.
LLL- Congrats to Keyarna on her new belt! She will definitely come in handy if any big kids try pushing Ronan around!
Elle- I am sooo happy we finally got a house, but have had a couple dramas already....
Who is your Dr again? How many weeks will you be when you have the scan?
Rohan- You will have to keep an eye on this thread to make sure you don't miss anyones sneaky news.... Seems most of the Darwin members a pregnant.
Georgia- LMAO about your Christmas decorations, not really funny i know, but what a surprise! I really thought we had more decorations than we really have, I will have to buy some more. This is really our first christmas as a family, at home. We have always had to go here there and everywhere to share around with the families.
Kristen- Great news about the GTT! good stuff.
I know what you mean about the pain relief, it scares the hell out of me too.... I really hope i dont have to have an epi again.
Me- Well we moved house over the weekend, very glad, but have since discovered the air cons are caked with dust, grime and mould on the inside, so there is no way i am turning them on. The realestate said no worries they have them booked into be serviced.....IN THE NEW YEAR!! not good enough, I was so mad. The worst thing is that the bedrooms don't have security screens, so i wont leave them open at night, and it is just too stuffy for the girls, even with the fan on flat out.
The second problem was the fly screens, some have large holes, and we were told when we inspected the place that they would be fixed before we moved in. so i can't leave the glass doors open a lot of the time because we gte flys and insects all in the house.
Third problem

the pool was not cleaned or balanced as we were told it would be, so the girls have been busting to swim and can't get in. The water is clear, but a dip test says there is no chlorine etc at all! They were also meant to leave us instructions for amount of chlorine etc but we haven't heard a thing.
Disapointing, but im just glad to have a place right now!
My head is so mixed up right now with things i have to do, and dates and times and appointments, that i dont even know when my next mid wife appointment is lol, ... i best go find out.
This baby is such a little wriggler i can't get over how much movemnet goes on, I never had that with the twins.
Enough rambling from me, hope to hear from you all again soon.
Oh and the Christmas party is on this w/e and i still have nothing to wear. Anyone able to classify EVENING ATTIRE for me??

Hello to anyone who is around. Seems everyone must be busy lately.
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!
Elle how was your scan?
I have been really confused lately, I am really starting to consider VBAC, but i just really wish i had someone who was passionate about it, to help me decide.
I am booked in for a c/s, but im having major second thoughts.
I know it is my decision, but i wish i had someone pushing me a bit for a vbac, because i feel like i am just 'going along' with the c/s idea.
I wouldn't say i am determined or passionate about having a vbac, but i am definitely starting to have doubts about another c/s.
Does anyone know where i can get some really good advise and encouragment from, possibly from a midwife?
I am with Dr miller and have my next appointment with a midwife in about 3 weeks. Would i be leaving it too late to change my mind and go over my options, I will be 29 weeks(ish).

Hi ladies
Thanks for asking about our scan! It was the most awesome thing I've ever seen! I was just glued to the screen for the entire time. It took just over an hour which didn't fuss me one bit but poor DH got a bit tired LOL Baby was playing nicely for the sonographer until about half way through and whamo bub thought it was play time

Wouldn't stop wriggling and moving around but hey I loved every second of it. DH even commented saying "can't you feel any of that?" No unfortuantely no movement yet, but boy what the baby kicking fearcely.
So for those of you who want to know...
Team Blue for us! It didn't matter either way and we are just very happy that everything apeared fine. We will get the results when we see Dr Mitchell next week. What ever those results are?
Sorry Lu can't help you on the VBAC info, wish I could. I have no idea where you'd begin to look for info specially in Darwin (humph) but surely the midwives with Dr Miller would be encouraging it? But I do have a couple of girlfriends who are seeing Dr Miller and funnily enough they are all having repeat c/s, so maybe it's just him? Dunno? Hopefully someone else can help you? I'd definitely be phoning the m/wives.

Congratulations ellejaye. Glad all went well.
I am curious as to what the ICSI is on your ticker.

Happy (belated) New Year everyone!
Ellejaye - congrats on the blue bundle!
Kristy - How's the new house going? Has your real estate agent pulled their thumb out to fix up your a/c, fly screens and pool? I'm sure if it was one of them living their, everything would have been fixed straight away. I'm not sure either about who to talk to about VBAC, but seeing as you're the one giving birth, you should be able to change your mind if you want.
Does anyone know when the pg exercise classes at DPH start up again?
Anyway, back to work for me.

Afternoon Girlies
Georgia the classes recommence on Thurs 11th Jan at 5:30pm, Jules (instructor) has been on holidays. How funky I'll see you there, but wont know who you are

LOL
Anna - ICSI is 'Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection'. It's basically IVF with the sperm being injected into the egg as opposed to mixing on their own in a test tube. It's used when you have server male factor infertility. DH's sperm count is basically non existant, not to mention I've got semi dodgy eggs, so we were stuff either way. Just happy medicine is so much more advanced these days! We've done 5 cycles with Repromed (the fertility clinic) at DPH to get this precious little one so we feel very blessed!
Lu any progress on the VBAC info you were looking for? What did the midwives say at your apt?
Half way tomorrow for us, very exciting! Can't wait to see baby again, hoping Dr Mitchell will give us a quick squiz next Wed. Will pop in after our apt to update you all.

Wow Ellejaye, so it's all super special for you. I myself have always felt lucky to be able to glide through pregnancy and labour as so many tend to hae complications.
