DS got out of the paddling pool last Friday and said he had to wee in the potty. Great! Nearly broke my neck to find it as we gave up on TT 2 months ago as he wasn't getting it. He did a wee and we have had 100% success with wee and poo ever since with him telling me everytime he has to do something.
The problem is, each time he has had undies on he has an accident. He saw the undies in the cupboard and insisted on wearing them. I think he thinks they are like a nappy and its ok to wee. I haven't taken him out since he started his own TT last Friday as I thought I would give him a good run at home without stress.
BUT! How can I take him out if he wees or poos when he has clothes on!!

DS was like this at the start. We're still TT but not doing too badly at the moment.
We still go out with pullups on. I don't see why it has to be a sudden change to the way things operate.
I would still let him wear undies at home until he realises it's not comfortable like it is to wee in a nappy.

My DS who is 2 is exactly the same. When we are home he walks around naked just about all day, no problems he goes to the potty without even being told. The minute he puts on jocks he thinks he dosn't have to go to the potty !!! I am now starting to make him wear jocks all the time and asking him regularly if he needs to go to the toilet ! Hopefully he will realise that jocks aren't nappies !

Thanks for that. I went out and bought undies today and will endeavour to get him to wear them at home. May have a fight on my hands as he seems to like being nudey at home!
Also, he does poo in the potty but he seems to save one up for his nighttime nappy, perhaps to get a bit more attention as he needs to be changed again before sleep? hmmm.
