Hey Everyone

Well how great is this weather. cool.gif

Anyway reason for this post. I have searched Darwin over for one of those plastic outdoor gym type things. I have no idea what they are called blush.gif , the square thing that are like a freestanding climbing frame. Toyworld had something similar but it was way to expensive cry1.gif , kmart and that only get them in for the toy sales etc rant.gif ... So I am wondering if there is anyone out there who is finished with theirs, or knows someone who is looking to sell outdoor play stuff their kids have outgrown. Will consider anything as my little man has nothing to play on outside. Otherwise we will just have to wait until the toy sale. wacko.gif

Thanks

I really don't know if this will help but you might try the Darwin Toy Library. For a yearly membership I believe you can borrow toys and swap them when you like.

They might not have big things but you won't have to buy toys and when the kids get bored you just get something else. At least you will be able to keep them entertained until the sales come up or Toyworld has the layby until x-mas eve offer.

This is the sort of thing I bought for the kids when we lived in Cairns. It cost around $156 and it was on sale at Kmart at the time for $98 and we had it for like 6yrs out in the elements. Very hardy.

I assume that's the type of thing you're after and yeh the ones at Toyworld are rather exy. Have a look in Kmart and if they have them, weight until the toy sale or a 15% off store wide which happens every month or so.

Cindy: Will have to have a look at the toy library. The kids have tons of toys, but who knows what this place may hold

Anna: That's exactly what I am looking for. So many people up here own them that I thought I may be lucky enough to find someone looking to sell theirs. Oh well may just have to wait for that toy sale. Checked out ebay and if we lived down south it wouldn't be a problem but freight to Darwin is out of control. mad.gif

Oh well fingers crossed, otherwise bring on the toy sale

Yeh.. i'll keep my eye out. We will have to get another once little miss grows and is a walking girl. If I had visions of the future, I wouldn't have got rid of our old one prior to moving.
