HI there.
I have been prescribed Amoxil for a sinus infection which the Doc said was fine to take whilst BF but she said that some of the drug will go through my milk.
Has anyone taken this whilst BF and had any ill effects?
Thanks

I dont recall any ill affects on my baby from antibiotics at the time and it is better for you to get better, your bubba is beautiful, kindest regards, Diana.

Thanks for the info.
Do you get Inner Health Plus from the Chemist or can you get it from the supermarket? Do I just mix the powder in with some breast milk?
Thanks, I am getting the script filled today so will get the Inner Health Plus at the same time.

I took Amoxil while in hospital after giving birth (along with a concoction of other drugs) and when I got home. We didn't have any obvious problems with DD. I didn't have any averse effects either. I had different ABs a couple of weeks ago and I got a tummy ache from that and think DD did too but that was not Amoxil.
I would actually wait and see how your DS goes before adding anything extra into her breastmilk. Don't fix what ain't broke?
