Anni-heres the link to my computer desk, its in our bedroom next to the bed. We moved it in here at xmas whilst DH mum was staying in our computer room and we never moved it back. the desk is so untidy, i cleared up a few things but still looks a mess.

To post footage just put the link here as you would a pic, i find you tube easier than photobucked when it comes to vids.

Girls I think I'm losin it!

Had a few drinks and have been trying to explain to DH that I am really stressed about getting Ella's birthday cake right. I have baked the cake and am icing and decorating it in the morning but will be glad when its all ok. For some reason I am feeling like the one thing that is my duty as a mother is to get the first birthday cake just right.

Am I crazy or am I crazy!!! wacko.gif wacko.gif wacko.gif

ok Anni, ill play the game hehe

the stick thing we put into the laptop is broken, so we've had to connect it to the modem... thats why its on the table hehe

Hi lovely ladies,

I have just caught up on reading but have no hope with personals so I'll just do a few from memory and apologise to anyone I miss. blush.gif

Britt Thanks for asking about my ear infection. The antibiotics kicked in fairly quickly so I am on the mend. I still have a couple of times a day I have to reach for the pain killers and I am over hearing my own voice echo through my head but getting there. Yes Max power vomitted after Jalna yoghurt both times I tried it. His reaction was pretty quick, probably within 5 minutes of him having it. Max also reacts to a tiny smear of butter, a trace of milk powder or cheese in a jar of food, even butter on our hands when we pick him up (DH picked him up after eating a toasted sandwich with butter on the outside the other day and he started coughing and getting a rash straight away). I'd try it again if I were you since he is OK with the baby yoghurt. Molly was always fine with the Jalna and still loves it now.

Rhiannon Oh you poor love. What a crappy day. I hope tomorrow is a better one for you.

Steph Can I ask what year model your Range Rover was? My DH has started looking at them online and I am nervous after your experience. Good that you were able to sell it for only $1000 less than you spent.

Beck
I love the photos of Cooper. Just gorgeous!

Erin
Your place looks really cute.

Dani You sound like you are running on empty. Make sure you rest whenever you can or you'll get sick! It will get easier though once you get back into the swing of studying. It took me a while to adjust when I went back to uni full time for a year. Fortunately I was single so that made things much easier for me! I'm thinking of you. If you get any behaviour assignments, give me a yell. That's my area original.gif

Anni
I laughed out loud at those photos of Tayla with the spoon. Too cute!

Rach
Don't you hate when DH's get in those moods and start the major clean out while huffing and puffing. I always want to run for the hills when that happens.

Renee Bummer about the infection. Hope it clears up quickly.

Kristi We have a bike seat for Max and another one for Molly. here is a picture of DH's bike with both of them on. Max was trying it out for the 1st time and they didn't go anywhere because he had no helmet yet (before anyone calls DOCS) tongue.gif

And here he is with his helmet this time

And one more with just Molly on the front seat when she was just 2.

DH built the bike especially for it. Isn't he clever! original.gif wub.gif When the kids are young it is great to have them in the front so you can see them and they can see everything that is going on. Our kids both adore the bike.

Us My kids were both up really late tonight. Max had an unsettled day and wouldn't sleep until 4pm and didn't wake up until 6.30pm for dinner. Our neighbours popped over in the middle of our dinner which threw out the timimg of everything so I didn't get Molly to bed before DH left for work. Since I had to feed and bath Max later than usual I didn't get Molly into bed until after 9pm. I still have to clean up thhe kitchen and clean up all the toys that are strewn across the lounge room floor before I can crash. I was up and down to both kids all night last night so I need some sleep. Better got off here and stop procrastinating. blush.gif huh.gif

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Just had to add quickly... I bought a freddo frog at our meet today from a lady who was fundraising. I had forgotten about it, then just remembered and literally kissed it as I took it out of the nappy bag.. lol. Maybe Kylie would understand my love of choccie.. hehe!!

Love Kristi (with a mouth full of Freddo) and Vienna
**Slappy**
Lyn - that bike looks fantastic! I bet the kids love it, its a great idea. Your DH should market the idea!

Well Im getting there slowly and steadily with the essay. Not easy to write and I personally think its a huge amount of codswallop but its answering the question (I hope!) so I guess thats all i should worry about wink.gif

Geez my legs are aching tonight. I think its this chair, I dont have a proper computer chair so have to use one of my dining chairs and its pretty uncomfortable, especially when I am sitting at the computer for hours at a time like tonight. I think I will have to go and buy a nice padded computer chair tongue.gif

HI girls

Well, just got home from SIL's... up the road... Jack is still asleep, I actually managed to transfer him from lounge to car to our house without really waking him so I'm happy bout that LOL

I had to take my mum after lunch to have a procedure at the hospital, so didn't do too much today, fluffed around with her, then had a little sleep this arvo with Jack then off to pick her up again!

I got Jack's car seat refitted this morning too, so he's now facing us finally - he was sinking it the other way blush.gif

Steph - woo hoo for selling your car so close to what you paid for it, that's almost unheard of... good on ya biggrin.gif

Anni - good on you for all your exercise and good eating! Those spoon pics of Tayla are funny laugh.gif She has such blue eyes!

Kristie - hope Ella 's feeling alright tonight for you sad.gif So many May bubbas have had ear infections and temps lately... Poor little munchkin original.gif Sleepy vibes closedeyes.gif

Erin - the frittata was so so simple .... it was diced sweet potato, carrot, pumpkin, red capsicum, asparagus, corn kernals (add or take away what you like/don't like) veges boiled first for about 10 mins, mix 8 eggs with half a cup of skim milk, add pepper to taste, pour into a deep ovendish, and layer like a potatoe bake, put on 180 for about 30 mins and done, test like a cake with a knife that comes out clean it's cooked! HTH's... really yummy, and Jack LOVES it too! Have a nice weekend with the 'inlaws'

Jules - I have felt really emotional about Jack turning 1 soon.. I know exactly how you feel... to me it's kinda the loss of this 'baby' and the start of being a toddler, not my little newborn bubba anymore cry1.gif I hope you have a great day for Ella's birthday party tomorrow! biggrin.gif

Kristie - I was giving Jack neurofen and panadol in tandem when he had a viral infection back in December... it worked a treat...!

Leanne - poor Lauren - how frustrating for you at the doctors <_<

Britt - maybe implantation bleeding? I am only a buyer on Ebay, but I've paid for three items in the past that were not sent, and put disputes in and all - so frustrating <_<

Rach - I haven't put Jack on the shopping centre merry go round yet... I bet he'd do the same when it stopped too hehe.. cheeky monkeys tongue.gif

Lauren - How exciting a new house to build!

QOTD - Arrowroot biscuits - Jack has one maybe twice or three times a week, he scoffs his down too, really quickly hehe!

Jeannie - PMSL at how long tea took to cook hehe laugh.gif

Rhiannon - oooh that soaker is very pretty wub.gif

Sarah - who is your team? I was going for St George tonight... they are my team hehe... DH's team is Manly through and through... lot's of rivalry in this household LOL

Anni - ouch on the dinner convo last night huh?! How cute Tayla's giving cuddles wub.gif

JULES> Well if your crazy then so am I ph34r.gif I am so paranoid that my cake will be sh*t. I'm not a good chef at the best of times and i feel like it's my motherly duty to whip up some awsome kick a*se cake for Tayla, and everyone has to love it. In my mind, what kind of motherly mum am I if I can't make a nice cake for Taylas first B-day? It's soooo crazy when I read that, but thats how I feel!

RENNE> Thanks for playing the game!

I just got a call from Chads phone. I answered all excited, but then realised his phone had accidently phoned me. I could hear muffled conversation so I eavesdropped for a while to suss out what he talked about when he was out on his own dev (6).gif It was bloody boring! All I heared was him talking to his mate about south africa and the politics of the blacks and the whites over the years and then they start talking about the iraqe war and all the politics about that. SOOOOO not what I assumed guys talked about when their chicks weren't there PML!!

Annixx
**LYN**
Jules I just wanted to wish you all the best for Ella's birthday party tomorrow. I can totally relate to you feeling all emotional. I am in denial that max is turning one soon. I just can't face the fact that my last baby is growing up. I'm sure the cake will be perfect. Make sure you take a picture to show us all how it turned out.

OK I have cleaned the kitchen and now I have to tackle the toys, express some milk and then hit the pillow hard. Nighty night!

Kristi-no i didnt see my sig on your laptop so i went back and looked and then i saw it.

Anni - good I'm glad I'm not the only crazy one! What you wrote is exactly what I feel too! How weird to be like that over a cake!!!!!!

Lyn - thanks for your message. Promise I will post a cake picture - no matter how it turns out!

Was just talking to DH about our baby turning one etc and then at the end of the conversation he goes "just don't f**k up the cake!". Ha ha!

Kristi - love the promite sambo pic!!! Vienna is just gorgeous! Where'd you get the cheap ride on! What a bargain. I also remember when Erin got hers - gosh that seems like so long ago now!

Chels - great that you moved Jack without him waking up! He must have been out of it!! Ella ALWAYS wakes up now when I move her from the car to the cot.

Rhiannon - hope the essay is going well for you. What are you studying again - I forget? Are you doing your Dip Ed??
hollybeagle1981
Jules: I got it from target. It was marked down because it had 'Red seat instead of Orange' ... lol.

Have you got the nappy yet??

Rhiannon: I am just talking to Chels on MSN,, lol.. thought It'd be funny. Glad I made you laugh. I hope you got some study done today.

Rach: when were you in Venice? We were ther 18 months ago.

Kristi

I actually think its not bad too, assuming that I have actually interpreted the question correctly blush.gif
hollybeagle1981
Rhiannon: congrats. that's awesome you're happy with it!

Anni: thanks.. I think she's beautiful too original.gif

Jules: I hope it lives up to your expectations!! The print is really gorgeous.

Rach: Europe was nice, but so expensive after south america! I did love Italy. we didn't eat much of the famous food, but got such fresh yummy bread, cheese, meat and sun dried tomatoes from the supermarket and made sangas every day.. yummo!

Lvoe Kristi and Vienna
**Slappy**
Now I have the WORST craving for sundried tomatoes! Oh well, I guess I will have to make a trip to the supermarket tomorrow dev (6).gif

Jules- I don't think it beats how long a cover took to get to one of my customers... ONE MONTH!! Canyou believe it!!?? That's just CRAZY!!! Don't fret about the cake. Ella's not going to remember if the cakes cocked up or not. It's the fact that you can say you made her first birthday cake that's nice.

Lyn- Ours was '96 model. Gorgeous to drive long distances and to 4WD in. But around town it was a B!TCH to drive. That's mainly why we got rid of it. They really are the best 4WD in the world though. Apparently the safest too. Anyway. I liked it, but not enough, IYKWIM?

Dani and Rhiannon- GOod luck with getting some study done guys. It's hard to stay motivated but you girls can do it! You pushed a watermelon out your fanny's, a bit of study is easy peasy compared to it! LOL!!! wacko.gif Nah. I remember how hard it is to study, let alone have kids to look after too. Draw up a timetable and slot in short bursts of study time. Sometimes you can get more done in short times than big blocks.

Anni- I know how you feel with your mates. We're the first of our friends up here to have kids so we're often forgotten. They're all starting to think about having kids though which is nice.

Me- WEll I had a TW party this afternoon. I was home by 7pm though so that was great. Well Miky was a right little turd when I got home. DH couldn't settle her, so we let her up but somethings not right with her. I'm hoping it's not something too drastic. I suppose I'll just have to keep an eye on her tomorrow.

Oh.. That's what I was going to say. At the TW party, the host had a pool right near her entertaining area. Well, it was fantastic. Her mates rocked up, kids were running everywhere, nibbles and drinks flowing. it was really fun! DH and I decided the other day we're going to get a pool. Just a smallish one. We figure our backyard is such a waste of space. If we get a pool and have the ability to heat it, there's no reason why we couldn't swim the whole year round coz it doesn't get that cold up here.

We're not sure how we'll do it money wise. But we'll figure something out. It was just so lovely to see how all the hosts friends came together and apparently they do that pretty much each week.

We love having mates around and would love to have people visit too. Plenty of ppl reckon they'd turn up too! LOL!! Anyway, if we did go down the pool track, I told Paul that we HAVE to have the heating tube thingys on the roof PLUS a cover so the water doesn't evaporate.

Hmm... I could dribble for AGES, but I think I might cruise on to bed. I'm tired. I'm sick of not being able to sleep as well... Sigh...

Steph.
~ZiggyStardust~
Rach - PMSL at DH - I had a mental pic in my head too that was pretty funny, him throwing things out the door hehe.... laugh.gif Jack loves Baby Einstein, I put em on when I'm cleaning up and he's mesmerised by it... biggrin.gif I totally get you on the subliminal messages things, it's the ONLY time Jack does stay still dev (6).gif

Anni - the glass of wine at the desk waiting for it's 'owner' to come back to is a classic.. hehe... batteries are dead so can't play sad.gif Sitting on lounge on laptop though.. very exciting LOL - sounds like DH was having a really 'exciting' conversation with his mate... and here we thought they talked about 'other' things hehe

Lynn - how clever is DH! Great idea, Max looks so cute and tiny on the front of the bike biggrin.gif

Just wanted to say hi!

Everyone here is asleep except for me. I am trying to tidy up as MIL is coming out to stay tomorrow night to babysit the boys while we go to a wedding down the coast. She can be a little weird and I'm kinda nervous about the whole situation (she can be a bit like poor her eg. when I was in hospital after having Clayty, DP bought me some extra food to eat and she complain she was starving and ate all my snacks <_< )

Best go do something <_<

Kristi-my tour of europe should have been named Rachels EAting Tour of Europe, i stacked on so much weight, i had to try everything, pizza, spaghetti bol, snails, frog legs, belgian and swiss chocolates, weiners or whatever the massive big german sausages are.............oh and alcohol, i drank my way around europe too, was so much fun though.
Nephnie
Rach- Gawd.... So did I!!! LOL!! I came home weighing 96kg which was 2kg heavier than when I was full term with Miky!! Yikes!! I had the FATTEST @rse it wasn't funny!! Had an AWESOME time though and tastes some fantastic food. Got addicted to South African Ciders when we were down there too.... blush.gif

Hi Girls
Just checking in again. I must admit that i havent read the last couple of pages blush.gif . I was up late last night cause i couldnt sleep and then when i finally got to bed after midnight, Izzy started throwing up sick.gif . I dont know whats wrong but she has a really nasty cough as well. Shaqs ok now though. I hope i dont get whatever they have.
Anyway. I have to vote today and DH is at work so i have to walk to a local office. Also, mum reminded me that daylight saving ends tonight here in sydney. I didnt even know. Havent even heard anything about it so i just put it up incase any other sydney mums have forgot original.gif
Bye for now guys.

Oh dear, I think Bridget might have German Measles... its all self diagnosis at the moment until I speak to the doc but she has the rash and the symptoms. The worrying this is my friend who is 6 weeks pregnant was over on Tuesday sad.gif

Britt - any words of wisdom?
~ZiggyStardust~
Morning girls

Well, what a nice sleep I had - I got to 'starfish' all night cause DH is away camping all weekend biggrin.gif It was the best sleep ever hehe.... no having to put up with snoring was heaven tongue.gif And Jack slept right through which was really nice, he was still asleep this morning when I bundled him up to take to mums rolleyes.gif

Rhiannon - uh oh, hope it's NOT german measles if your pregnant friend was around ohmy.gif too... What was your essay on?

Kristi - hmmm.... maybe I should back pack Europe - sounds like a great way to lose a bit of weight hehe laugh.gif

Sorry this is a me post. Had a quick read through - you girls seemed to be having fun last night..lol..
MY night consisted of Ella screaming from 6:30pm - 10 when i finally put her in the car and drove around for 1/2 hour till she went to sleep. Brought her inside where she staretd screaming again and finally went to sleep just before 11pm - woke at 5am for a bottle then up at 7am!
I was at the point of taking her to the hospital cause i thought the panadol/nurofen should have helped. She was just so overtired and cranky and still in pain. She was crying, i was crying. I just didnt know what to do. I rang the childrens hospital help line and they said if her temp goes up again to bring her straight in - it didnt thank god. Didnt help that i was home alone cause DH went to the drags with one of his mates. I couldnt be angry at him though cause he rarely goes anywhere and this was planned for ages, so i told him to go id be fine. Well it was pretty much the worst evening ive ever had with her. i just wanted to call him to come home but didnt cry1.gif Poor munchkin i just hope she is better tonight!

Morning!

Tayla woke up again just before 6;30am, it was still pitch black outside rolleyes.gif Not to mention that it's freezing! I had to put an extra layer of clothes ontop of her grow suit. I think I'm going to have to buy one of those gro-bag/sleeping bag thingies. Do I put her normal PJ's on under it?

Chad got home at 3am, I was actually suprised, the group of friends he was with always party hard, the kind who stay out till 6am and come home parro. He came in quietly at 3, and even though he was drunk, he wasn't stupid fall over drunk. Although he loves to talk for aaaaages and he forgets that I have been asleep for hours and it's 3am!! wacko.gif

CHELS> Ahhh what a nice sleep! Can't believe Jack was still asleep when you took him to your mums, sweepy bubba original.gif

RHIANNON> Fingers crossed it's not GM! Hope you find out very very soon what it is unsure.gif Well done finishing your essay! I really admire you studying mums, I really want to do it but I'm too unsure what I'd do with Tayla. Sometimes I think just jumping into something and thinking of everything after is the best thing to do! If you don't mind me asking, what was your essay on?

TRAVEL> The only time I've been out of Autralia was on our honeymoon. I don't really have an urge to go see the world, but I have a huge itch to go around Australia. When we were living in North West WA we saw some awsome parts of the Pilbarra, and we went to Broome, but we really want to see all of Australia. It's a big dream of ours, hopefully we can do it one day, maybe when our next kid is old enough.

So what's everyone doing today? I've got no idea, I feel like doing something productive though!

Morning girls!

Kristie: So sorry to hear you had a bad night last night! How long did the GP say the ear infection will take to go away?

Rhiannon: they always have pretty cheap flights to NZ, Vanuatu, Fiji those sorts of places. You could save up and go on one of those trips b4 you're 40! That's a while off yet biggrin.gif . I reckon essays look even better the next day, as they're finished! hehe

Anni: no idea what we're doing here either original.gif. i was thinking about going to the RNW demo in the city.. but it's all the way in the city wacko.gif . Holly is still recovering from her op so we may just stay at home. Maybe I'll do some sewing? How did you go with your painting the other week? (that was you wasn't it?)

Alright, gonna go get some brekkie!

Love Kristi and Vienna
**Slappy**
Anni - the essay subject was 'Using the concept of world view, identify some of the beliefs and attitudes, particularly to education and learning that you bring to your learning now. Reflect critically on how your world view has been shaped by factors such as your gender, age or community'
So you can see how easy it would be to write a total lot of dribble! Which is what I think I have done... blush.gif

Kristi - Yep I have lots of time to plan and save original.gif I want to go to Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Indonesia etc. How is your DH?
DBear
Good Morning

You girls were so very chatty last night.

Rhiannon
No I wasn't studying. I think I must've left EB open so it looked like I was on here.LOL I was so tired so I gave myself a night off the study. I couldn't keep my eyes off.
Yay on finishing your assignment. Hope Bridget doesn't have the German Measles. Fingers Crossed. Could it be that roseola? I have heard that's goign around but I dont' really know much about it.

I'll have to go back and read all the rest of posts.

I may or may not get back here today as I have heaps more stuff to do for uni.

Dani
~ZiggyStardust~
Erin - our car seat says turn from 8kg onwards, and we left it alot longer, Jack is nearly 10kgs, but he was weighing it down too much and it wasn't do the job properly, the guy who refitted it for us yesterday told me that smile1.gif
~ZiggyStardust~
Erin - Jack was doing the same... and the straps were loosening every time we put him in ohmy.gif I wanted to keep him rearward facing for as long as possible and we did... Hey Erin, check this out.....

Erin-hehe im having a 12lb girl, but the father is Bill O'Reilly.........dont even know who he is.
Rhiannon-hope Bridget is ok, it could be Roseola, it starts with big temps for a day or two then the rash comes out after that. OMG, you must be a clever cookie cuz i wouldnt even be able to answer that essay question.
Dani-bet you had a nice study free night then, did you watch some tv or a dvd or just relax on the couch?
Anni-If you got the 2.5tog gro bag which is the warmest i would put cotton pj's on Holly, long sleeved and legged but nothing too thick or with feet, i worry about over heating too much. Holly still is sleeping in shorts and singlet with no blanket. dunno when i will have to bring out the gro bag. Im just gonna go vote then bludge all day and then got the hens night tonight........im so excited i cant wait to go out and drink and party and have a dance. biggrin.gif

Me-woo hoo another 8.30am sleep in. I get worried when i wake that late and havent heard a peep out of Holly. She must of been tired, she crashed at 6.20pm last night and never heard her til 8.45am.

Rhiannon - Hopefully your friend has Rubella immunity, if she has had her Rubella needle in highschool. I remember I had a booster of the MMR immunisation at work. I am not sure how long they last, I'll check it out for you.

Britt xx

Fewer cases of rubella occur since a vaccine became available in 1969, although decreased uptake of the MMR vaccine (e.g. in the UK) is expected to lead to a rise in incidence. In most Western countries, the vast majority of people are vaccinated against rubella as children at 12 to 15 months of age. A second dose is required before age 11. The vaccine gives lifelong protection against rubella. A side-effect of the vaccine can be transient arthritis.

The immunization program has been quite successful with Cuba declaring the disease eradicated in the 1990s and the United States eradicating it in 2005 [1]. Every minister of health in the Americas plans to eliminate the disease by 2010.

Rhiannon - This is what I found, It looks like Rubella would be rare to contract. HOpefully this is the case for your friend, she needs to talk to her Dr about it, just in case.

Hi

Long time no write. I just wanted to say that if the pregnancy predictor was correct I would TTC right now. A 6lb 6oz girl to 'the pool guy' is perfect. Oh, and the freaky part is the name she has, 'Hannah'. That is the name DH and I picked if we had a girl before we had either of our boys. Maybe it's a sign wink.gif

Rhiannon and Dani - I just want to let you know that I can sympathise with you both studying. After I had Xander I went back to studying part time (as well as working fulltime), and only managed to get through 1 and a bit semesters when I threw it in. Something had to give and for me it was the study.

Cake - I am a slack mum and always end up buying the cake for my kids. I don't have enough time to cook and play with my boys, so a shop bought alternative works for me (and at least I know it will be edible).

Sorry for the crap personals but all my time has been spent reading (you girls are so chatty).

Oh, and I wanted to add that Zayden has been walking. He can do about 5 - 10 steps before he falls over. Where has my baby gone cry1.gif

Take care all

I'm feeling really clucky today, I have a friend who's 26wks pregnant and now and then I go into her BG to see how her and bubs are going and it takes me back to those days and I get all warm and fuzzy wub.gif I miss being PG, miss all those kicks, and if Chad was away working I never felt alone with Tayla moving around all the time.
