HELP!!My 10 week old son wets through his fitted cloth nappies in just over an hour. I really want to stick with cloth but i'm sick of changing his entire outfit every hour when he's awake and having to use disposables while he sleeps.
Is this normal?
Can anyone recommend any fitted or AIO nappies that are especially good for heavy wetters that are about 7kg's.

what nappies are you using at the moment?? if we know what he's wetting through, we can suggest things to try wink.gif

I am using some fluffies fitted nappies with pilchers that were given to me at the moment and i realise that these are probably not my best option, but i don't want to go and spend heaps of money on others that he's going to wet through just as quick.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Well really that says it all, Fluffies are useless, they are a couple of layers of fabric and the rest is wadding which isnt absorbant at all. Just about anything would be better than what you are using. Buy a couple of different types to try out and find what you like and go from there. Maybe try and pick up a few secondhand ones from the trading room. You'll save money in the long run.

ETA Oops just realised that you have less than 50 posts so cant buy in the trading room, but you could try http://www.buyforbaby.com.au/ or Baby soft landings does some secondhand nappies as does http://stinkycheeksbabyshop.com/catalog/ (or you could go on a posting frenzy)

What about a Baby Beehinds trial pack? We love them, they have always done us well. Very absorbant. especially the bamboo ones.

I second this.
