Good morning!

I couldn't come up with a witty title for this thread sad.gif

I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. It's hard to get out of bed when it's still dark and everyone else is snooring. At least it's not cold anymore, so that makes it a tiny bit easier.

Today is my last day of work with the boss as they're going away for 2 weeks ffear.gif Nah should be fine... unsure.gif

We don't have any plans this weekend. Oh except a BBQ with some friends on Sunday. Anyone doing anything exciting? I've got a heap of study to catch up with.

Anyway I better go get Katie out for her early morning feed...
greengables
Why is it that when you have a big day ahead, you get the least sleep (due to poor DS3 up and down all night with reflux - ended up sleeping in the stroller on an upright angle next to my bed).
Off to Sydney to a friend's housewarming party at a retirement village.
DS2 is still asleep in our bed.
DH was working till 11 last night, then up at 4 to do a talk this morning!
So that's great, we're both tired and have a big day. cry1.gif
ladyp
I been up since 4am too!! Everyone else in the house is still asleep, but not me. Woke up and just can't go back to sleep!!
copperdogsmum
Morning early risers tongue.gif

That's Murphy's Law for yah - if I go to bed late coz of work I am guaranteed that DS will wake 30mins after my head hits the pillow cry1.gif Or if we have plans for the day he'll wake up extra early and throw his day sleep routine out the window cry1.gif cry1.gif

Going swimming today, and nothing else. Saturday afternoon is my favourite part of the week - DH is home, slept and ready for DS after 2 night shifts. I get a relaxing Saturday afternoon and don't need to do the night routine till Monday night cool.gif

Have to rescue cat from DS wacko.gif
MyAwesomeAprilites
It is going to be 27 here today in SA so we will probably go to the Farmers Markets this morning, feed the local Kangaroos and emus and enjoy the sunshine.

I had a shocker of a night with Will, in between feeds and resettling, I have no idea how many times I was up, maybe 6? We are off to Torrens House in Adelaide next Tuesday for 3 nights/4 days to try and sort him out.

That is so true! It is like they know you have just gone to bed.

Morning all. grin.gif

I'm just trying to stop procrastinating as I've booked the kids into the gym creche to force myself to go this morning. So not in the mood. Have promised the kids to take them to the park afterwards, lots of stuff to pack up. Argh! And DS woke up four times last night!

DH is on call/working all weekend, has a case at 9:30am to do, will probably be there most of the day. cry1.gif
Mummy fab
Morning all!

I have got a bit on this weekend. Today i would like to paint our bedroom we also have to hire a mini skip to get rid of some pavers and normal garden rubbish then tonight we have a birthday BBQ to go to.

Tomorrow im heading off to the shops to get aliyahs bday presents off layby and then going to a 3rd bday party (should be cute they have hired one of those farm aminal things to come) and then prob just more stuff around the house needs doing.

MyAwesomeAprilites - i didnt realise that it was going to be 27 today!! If thats the case prob takes the kids to the park or something as well.

I've been up and down since 2:30am and DH did most of the legwork so I let him sleep in. Oh bugger we're out of bread and I forgot to bake another loaf last night. Ooops. Cereal for the girls this morning (if they don't both gag on their rice milk) unless DH wants to run over the road to get a loaf from the bakery.

LOL speak of th devils.... they're stealing his weetbix because they're both starving laughing2.gif He's gonna run over the road after he finishes eating.

Today I am cleaning out the fridge-freezer. And bringing in the ****ing dining table that's been in the garage SINCE WE MOVED IN LAST YEAR!! Will be rearranging the dining area too as it won't relaly fit. And working out if I can afford to buy a couple of decent dining chairs from Ikea (going on their website in a mo')

Oh and 50 billion loads of washing cuz all I washed yesterday was nappies laughing2.gif

Poor DH, he might get a spoonful of his own weetbix eventually!!
MyAwesomeAprilites
Vanessa- I am in Berri and I think it is 25 tomorrow, just perfect.

I have lots of washing to do today as well. Bugger!

We have also decided that we might go to the library and borrow a few books for Miss Ava.

Helena
scuttlebutt
lol at your boobs mumz laughing2.gif

I have just put a massive load of nappies in the machine

School holidays have started and DS has said "Im bored" so ive written ( typed actually) him a huge list on what he needs to do around the property for the next two weeks. I wonder how many weeds you can pick out with a fork?? dinner fork that is not pitch! laughing2.gif

DD13 is at her Karate Competition today.. im waiting for those bruises to appear when she gets home.

DD16 is off to Air Force Cadet at 1300hrs for her week camp then home one day then off to the AIR FORCE Cadets band camp. her and DD13 are BOTH away at the same time.. and i pity all her Officers becuase they are BOTH hormonal next week so will enjoy that HOLIDAY whilst we can!

Hubby is on nightshift til Thursday next week then he has five days off.. so that will be good I get to talk to him and not get interrupted unless DD2 doesnt want to share again.. DS17 months still cant talk yet so he hasnt learn to interrupt or take the spotlight!

Me im just playing taxi and working...

Oh and the horse ate my daffodils this morning so im now waiting for the bull to break down the fence.. ..seems to go in that direction anyways..

too cold in our pool... mumzie even a toe in our pool water would make your boobs head north!! laugh.gif Theres no hope for me Ive lost mine somewhere along the way!!!
silne
LOL at the boobs. Even after my milk came in after both girls were born and my lack of breastfeeding fu, my boobs still didn't point any direction but down! (H cups will do that to ya) Would have been much easier to get a baby on a boob if engorgement DID make them point upwards though.

DH is a daaaarling. He pulled the nappies off the shaded line and put them on the clothes airers to get sun while I was doing the shopping. He also put DD2 down for a nap wub.gif I dunno if he managed to get the first load out of the machine yet will know in a second. Nope, but that's ok. He's entertaining DD1 who helped me unpack the shopping. She's in her best mood while helping mummy and will prolly come outside in just a nappy to help me hang the washing (DH took her out there in her pjs ohmy.gif ) and help me put the second load int he machine. I love that she loves to help. Even DD2 was helping by handing me clothes to put in the machine. Toddlers are fantastic no matter what anyone says wub.gif

OK back to my chores. Gotta make some mayo today too (since we can't have store bought mayo) so I can do up a coleslaw for our BBQ this evening (LOVE SUMMER!!!!) Contemplating doing a potato salad as well but it seems like too much work laughing2.gif
scuttlebutt
ohhhh now I have a craving for coleslaw, and being PG it would have to be freshly made...
copperdogsmum
Back again, been for our swim - was a catch up lesson and another EBer was there with her 2 for the first lesson. Bloody cold when we got out - your right mumzie there is a storm coming from somewhere. I wub.gif Friday or Sunday night storms - we used to sit out the front of the house with our wine and beer watching it go by. Dog's hate it though, and normally put a couple of holes in the fly screen trying to get inside.

Too tired to read the boob story tongue.gif , waiting for my hot lunch to come out of the oven - sweet chilli sauce with sour cream on seasoned wedges with sweet chilli chicken tenderloins mmmmmmmm wub.gif
ladyp
Silne: Jai is inlove wub.gif with my new washine machine to the point I have to make sure it is turned off at the wall.... He is driving me mental. He always helps put the clothes in and out. At both my mum's and the IL's place they have to watch him otherwise he will put stuff in or out of thier machines. He once put a cheisal(sp) in mum's and dad didn't check before putting a load on, so clunk, clunk, clunk and he wondered what the noise was. He didn't stop the machine or drain it and check. When he got the washing out he saw what it was and it dented mum's machine LOL. Since then they always check the machine if Jai has visited. laughing2.gif laughing2.gif He also pulled my MIL washing out for her one day it was washed and ready to be hung out, she thought it was funny. He walks around telling people all about the washing and if it is wet or dry. BTW we have front loaders now which is a problem.

Mumzie: It is nice whne they sleep through but the full boobs in the morning are full on, I used express a bit and freeze it so when they start solids I use it then.

Copperdogsmum: You rlunch sounds yummmy....mmmmm

I have done 2 loads of washing brought another one in.

cleaned the kitchen

cleaned the bathroom

vacummed and mopped

fed both kids who are now in bed yay

I also striped both our bed and Jai's.

So Iam pretty happy with that effort.
silne
Paula: we have a top loader so it's not an issue here even though E can get into the garage original.gif

Alas we don't have a dryer and it's about to rain on my line full of washing!! cry1.gif and the nappies are on the clothes airers so I can't even just bring in the stuff we need. Oh well, scrounging for pjs for the girls again tonight. Fortunately the container with their winter clothes in it is under our bed rolleyes.gif The clouds do look amazing though.

DH is being a darling and getting the girls their lunch (actually he's asking if they want seconds at the moment LOL).

I have a rather strange mayo recipe in the fridge cooling and hopefully thickening.... if it doesn't work out it's only cost me a tin of condensed milk laughing2.gif

I just hope it doesn't rain all afternoon though cuz it'll be hell trying to cook on the barbie with the girls being locked up inside out of the rain wacko.gif It's so cold today too!! I ran around this morning opening all the windows cuz it was nice and breezy warm, but in the last hour it's turned really cold so now I had better go around and close them all. Three hours is good enough for airing the house out anyway!
andyb
Its raining, and all my nappies on the line are wet. cry1.gif cry1.gif

Supposed to go to an outdoor birthday party tomorrow, should be interesting...
ladyp
hey mumzie I just looked at your sig isn't Nathan a boy???
silne
LOL mumzie. I remember back when DH used to play original sims. We used to mutter to each other in sims language laughing2.gif

Well the rain missed our yard yay!! I just want it to go into the dams. My grass weeds have had enough water for the next couple of months so it's not needed here.

Contemplating whether I can convince DH to go over the road and get me some hot chips blush.gif Have a MAJOR craving. I know they're bad and fattening but the oven fries in the freezer don't taste the same mellow.gif Eh I should do the oven fries. I don't think I have enough change on me for deep fried yumminess.
ladyp
check out this pic, Amaya on her birthday, just got it from my dad LOL, I had to get a pic of her birthday nappy, I know I posted a pic the other day but this is one from her party laughing2.gif wink.gif
Stacey*
ladyp I was also thinking isn't Nathan a boy. I love the picture it is so cute.

We went shopping this morning after I slept in till 9am and DH did breakfast. We brought a Wii at the shops, it is so much fun, I can see myself getting very fit doing the boxing. biggrin.gif

Off to play more games on the Wii I think this could be my new addiction since I am finished buying nappies. (even though I did buy another yesterday ph34r.gif )
Chantz
Hi Girls

Geez I haven't been able to chat much. Harvey is a little guzzler and I'm finding myself spending more time on the lounge now than I did when PG!!!

TJ just did the cutest thing, she got one of Harvey's nappies and tried to put it on her baby doll.

Stacey - There ya go.......Video games incorporating exercise!!!

LP - That nappy is divine!

All this talk about food is making me soooooooo hungry so i'm gonna go have a bickie original.gif
*~*ChristieLee*~*
That was a good bit of rain hey. It poured down here.

I had a good sleep too this afternoon. I slept for about 3 hours ph34r.gif but I really really needed it.

We took the boat out this morning and went for a nice picnic on an island. Not sure what it's called but it was really nice. White sand and we had the whole place to ourselves.

I just finished the GST. Better pay it now. Cuppa time first though....
Reve4
Hi all....wow swimming....I have been sooooo cold today.

Just come back from the city, was MIL's birthday. Went out for dinner which is always interesting with kids.

Got a baby shower tomorrow morning. Looking forward to it, wish I could show off some MCN but better not. Might leave a couple of cute ones in the car just in case laughing2.gif DS has a party tomorrow arvo so busy, busy, busy.

mumzie, laughing2.gif at the boobs....I loved breastfeeding just for that reason, my boobs actually look like boobs!
copperdogsmum
It's sad no-one else is talking to us tongue.gif

Maybe we should just start our own thread to catch up laughing2.gif

More but no-one talking ph34r.gif

Ok going to bed now - no-one chatting tongue.gif

You must have all got the sh*ts with the Cowboys losing and buggered off to bed too laughing2.gif
silne
Pfft sif I would stoop to watching Thugby. Am checking the AFL scores before bed tongue.gif

Oh and it's game night at my place. Usually D&D but tonight one of the group didn't snow so we played Scrabble instead. Then I made up a story using all the words on the board to amuse the others. Strangely, all completely sober laughing2.gif I think I'm drunk on adrenalin which I'm probably producing in bucketloads just to stay conscious at the moment. Haven't heard from Squirt yet and hands.gif that we don't!!
copperdogsmum
First one up biggrin.gif

You all must have lovely husbands for letting you have sleep in's laughing2.gif

Going fishing today with DS and DH, hopefully we can catch something this time otherwise it's off to the Fish and Chip shop tonight for dinner laughing2.gif. We brought new rods and reels for my Birthday and Brendon's Fathers Day and Cooper got one coz it was cheap grin.gif

Scared to look at the washing line, as it rained last night and during the storm too. Did 4 loads of washing so if it's wet we will all be running around naked today laughing2.gif ohmy.gif

Off to have some weetbix and warm milk for brekkie - talk when you all get up biggrin.gif
silne
What's a sleep in? I've been attempting to ignore DD2 for about an hour now. She co-slept with us from about midnight as neither of us was up to getting up to her 50 times a night like Friday night. So over this teething crap. Alas she went to bed late last night and got up just as early as usual AND woke up for a feed at midnight. *sigh* At least she settled and stayed settled after she came to bed with us though.
Mummy fab
Im here to!!

I went out last night for a friends bday for a few drinks first time since having J, anyway i took J and left aliyah at home with her dad thinking that J was the easy one to take!! well she wasnt that easy for some reasom was screaming and i ended up home at 10.30 sad.gif Oh well still managed a few drinks and thinking about it now considering i didnt get to sleep till about 1 (aliyah wouldnt sleep but thats a whole other story)and im up now with a slightly sore head any more drinks and it might have been a very yucky day today.

Today off to the shops with mum, then to a 3 year old bday and then home tonight to relax..............well try to!!!

Morning all original.gif We had a good sleep in. Katie didn't get up to 7:15 and Jacob at 7:30.

Good luck with the fishing copperdogsmum.

Oh no Mumzie, sounds like your house is falling down ohmy.gif Hope you can get it fixed soon.

We have a BBQ to go to today but that's about it.

Katie is 5 months old today wub.gif
Stacey*
I wasn't on last night because the Wii is so addictive and DH and I stayed up very very late playing it. Luckily the kids slept and even slept in till 7:30am. grin.gif

Happy 5 months Katie. They grow up so fast.

Mumzie hope you have a nice lazy day. I think I want breakfast at your house all we had was cereal.

copperdogsmum Have fun going fishing.

Vanessa Hope you have fun shopping.
scuttlebutt
I slept in till 9:20 ph34r.gif wub.gif my DF original.gif
Chantz
Oh i'd love a sleep in! I'm so jealous of you that get sleep ins!

DD, DS and DH are all sleeping atm and i'm about to start housework. Isn't it the one who gave birth who is supposed to be napping?
*~*ChristieLee*~*
Wow you're good! I don't think I've ever mowed the lawn here. I used to when we lived in Kingaroy but our yard here needs the ride on and I'm scared of the ride on ph34r.gif

We had a nice BBQ. I've decided I'm going to get Jacob a bike for christmas...
*~*ChristieLee*~*
I hung out my nappies and bought another load in.

The other 3 members of the family are all snoring. DH is taken care of so he shouldn't pester me tonight ph34r.gif

Yeah jacob had a ride of another kids bike today and he loved it. He's only got a baby bike and really needs a big boy bike.

I'm watching my Sex and the City DVD's but I should be studying...maybe just one more episode...
greengables
Finally fixed DS1's bike on Wednesday. Took me 10 mins, and I'd been putting it off for 10 months. Actually thought of giving them all to the Salvos and starting again with new ones...but it's actually fine now. The tyres are even staying up.
DD's bike is next to be fixed. Hope it's as easy!
Nice quiet afternoon in front of the computer. All 4 are watching my Poirot DVD. laughing2.gif
Work day for DH, but he works mainly from home, so he is here too, reading etc.
Stacey*
I have enough nappies, I have enough nappies, I have enough nappies, I have enough nappies, I have enough nappies.

I am trying really hard not to buy the nappies I have sitting in my cart. unsure.gif

Will be back soon for personals when I get the nappies out of my cart.
copperdogsmum
Buy buy buy I say - DH has p*ssed me off this afternoon and I am spending big time tonight dev (6).gif dev (6).gif
silne
I'm not spending. We have a $400 electricity bill despite cutting back on our use (this is $50 higher than last quarter, thanks Peter Beattie for deregulating the electricity market in QLD mad.gif )

Then I have 2 car regos due in October blink.gif Dunno how I'm coming up with THAT money just yet! The inlaws paid for the Commodore rego back in April so there is no WAY I am begging for their help. Am hoping DH gets oncall work sometime before the second one is due. unsure.gif
copperdogsmum
He's just being a male ph34r.gif

You know what, 10 mins to go in the league game today, and I walked into the lounge and could smell DS's smellie nappy so asked DH to clean and give him his shower - you know what he said.....

"In 10mins, the game is almost over"

rant.gif would you sit in sh*t for 10mins longer than necessary rant.gif

So I changed, showered, and cleaned DS and DH knows now he is sitting in sh*t with me rant.gif
Stacey*
I took the nappy out of my cart and went and cleaned the kitchen. Then I went back and brought it. ph34r.gif Well DH did spend $500 on a Wii plus other stuff yesterday.

copperdogsmum yep I would say he is in deep sh*t too.

Will be back after bath time.
*~*ChristieLee*~*
caryn, my DH is the same. But he doesn't watch football ddance.gif I HATE football. But he does put it off and hope that I'll do it before he has too aannoyed.gif

Mumzie, holy crap! I'll never complain about our $300 bill again.

Stacey I do that too to justify my purchases! lol

I've been pretty good though. I've only bought a pack of magicalls recently and nothing before that for at least 2 months. But I have been buying a few cute outfits for Katie. They are just so adorable I can't say no to them. I hardly ever buy clothes for myself, so I figure I should be able to buy them for Katie.

wub.gif I think Jacob is going to be a gardener when he grows up. He's sitting there watching Jamie Durie with great interest wub.gif

I've got dinner on. Jacob is having ribs, Jason is having shepards pie and I'm having Korma chicken.
Stacey*
ChristieLee Dinner in your house sounds like our house. I love Korma and DH would much rather have something with mince or meat and 3 veg. Whereas DS seems to live on chicken and sausages.
silne
I made sausage rolls and they didn't suck!!! ddance.gif

I must confess I've changed plenty of nappies in front of the tv. Usually because the girls start a tantrum if I try to take them away from it blush.gif

Ow, have a cramp in my foot, better try and walk it off blink.gif
copperdogsmum
Problem solved - told him to move back to his mothers dev (6).gif

Worked a treat, he finished cooking dinner for me, and now putting Cooper to bed.
Reve4
yyawn.gif Well I'm glad this weekend is over....too busy.

My lovely DH gave me a sleep in this morning. He woke me up at 9.15, I had a lovely long short shower and went to a baby shower. This afternoon I took DS to a party and sat in the sun chatting with the other mums then out to my sisters tonight for dinner.....pity I have to ruin the day by doing the ironing tonight. laughing2.gif

My DH doesn't watch the football but spends a lot of time playing games on the computer....the house could be tumbling around him and he wouldn't notice.

The Eels lost cry1.gif
greengables
End of a long one for me too (except for the hours I spent on the computer while the boys slept this afternoon). Out again tonight to a friend's confirmation. Nearly got lost out the back of nowhere. Had to do a u turn, but luckily DS2 doesn't realise yet that that means I'm lost. He just said, 'Are we going home now?' laughing2.gif
Dead tired now. DS2 just broke my beautiful long mirror in our bedroom. Took me ages to get one, and now it's broken. cry1.gif cry1.gif
Have to get the car serviced before we go away, it's making embarrassing noises blush.gif . Went thr' McD drive thru and realised how noisy it's got.
