I know this has been done to death but I am still lost, Patrick seems to be leaking through his cushie tushie night nappies, they seem to gape a fair bit around the legs (odd because I dont have that problem with the day ones)and he seems to do massive pees overnight.
any ideas of what else I could use, I have mainly stuck to AIO's but am willing to try anything as long as I know what I need (ie, x nappy needs a booster and a cover etc..)

thanks
Lauren

If you are wanting AIO I like the Keester Kovers for nights. These are sold on the Possum Pouches website (don't think any instock atm) but there are some previewing on the Gossamer Dreams store on OZEbaby for next stocking.

I use a Keester Kover too ATM. Most nights DD seems to wake up the tiniest bit damp (her clothes, not her bottom). It's not enough to change her sheets or even her blanket (she's still swaddled) but enough that I have to change her PJ's. It has a bamboo tri-fold in it and I've just recently started adding a fleece-topped hemp booster which is helping. I have a Peep-O Bed Bug (AI2) on order as well as some Wombots SNAIO's. It seems to be a bit of a dilemma to find the right thing for nights!

For my DD I use KKs most of the time, they are fantastic and I've never had leaks and I also have a CK HB bamboo nights which I love. This requires a cover though but its not usually wet on the outside when I change her in the morning. I also have a bunch of BBB as backups which also needs a cover and they are usually soaking wet by morning and shes only dry because the PUL cover is keeping it all in.
Mummy fab
I have only just started to use cloth on DD1 at night. We only have wrigglebumz and wild child dreamy nights and so far both of these are working really well.

That was way too much thinking for my brain so early in the day but now I remember what Night Nappies you are talking about! haha We only made a few didn't we? They be some old nappies! laughing2.gif

I'd suggest getting a good Wool Soaker. They are godsends. You might need an extra booster or Bamboo Trifold too? Has the leg always gaped or is it just recently?

Failing that I am totally in wub.gif with my Peep-o Bed Bug Night nappy. A little hard to come by though. They need a Cover (i.e Good Wool Soaker!).

I use a ecobubs pocket nappy at night time so I didn't have to buy night nappy covers. I boost it with the trifold it comes with and a hemp trifold. I put it on backwards as DS is a tummy sleeper and it works better this way for some reason. wacko.gif DS has never had a leak in it even when he was having 2 bottles a night.

We've recently started using our Honeyboys at night with added booster. original.gif
We just got a big pack of BG pockets so we only use those and our funkys for day times now, and we use HBs and BBBs at night.
DD has dicovered the wonderful world of velcro undoing though so i stick a fleece cover over the top if she has her nighty(sp?) on.
Otherwise we have a good amount of night AIOs minus the massive cost. wink.gif

ETA we use the honeyboys for DD, for DS we use the Haute pockets.
He's a light wee-er so we can use any nappy for him.

Thanks everyone for the advice, guess its shopping time again biggrin.gif He was fitting them perfectly but has shot up in the last week and they now gape a little.
I think I will try adding a booster and adding a cover first then go shopping for more night ones

thanks again

I think I may have figured out what the problem is, OH has been doing the washing for the past week. I just asked him what he had been washing them in "a scoop of washing powder and a scoop of the nappysan, all the usual things we use"

Very sweet of him to do the washing but I think he forgot the part where I told him how much gear to use
