Just received an e-mail that Pumpkin Patch have reduced their sale prices even further (online and instore). Wasn't impressed with their sale a few weeks ago, but they seem to have added new stock online and they have some gorgeous clothes (was only looking at girls so cannot vouch for the boys range!) so have stocked up for summer for the next couple of years.....

Goodluck getting them!
I am still waiting on items that I have ordered 6 + weeks ago. The service has been pretty poor this time around.
After calling and calling them and getting no satisfaction (ie they couldn't tell me when they would be getting sent out just that they were waiting to be 'pick listed') I sent an email to the Managing Director

I just got the email and ordered a bucket load also. You just cant beat a t-shirt for $5 can you? I got sizes for the next 2 summers, boys and girls.

Happy days.

Thanks for the tip- though I think I'll try to pop into PP on Monday to see what they have in store after reading about the online ordering issues

Nope, neither have I before this. And this 6+ week wait for was for two sererate orders I placed. There was a note on the original orders when I placed them to say they were having some delays, but I didn't quite imagine 6 weeks

And what they are doing is sending out orders in dribs and drabs. The first parcel I got had 1 item, the second parcel a week later. I am still waiting on 6 items that they can't tell me if I will get or not. And TBH I don't think they will give me the items for free. They really don't seem to be too fazed on their CS at the moment.
Cheers,
Sam

Just a question...is it a further 25% off the ticketed price or has it been reduced already?
i love the colour red
17/03/2008, 10:15 AM
Have just come home from our local store. Yes it is 25% off already reduced prices

.

I went into the store and the prices online are actually cheaper than the instore prices for the same items. I did find some extra outfits though- I got to the point were my mum actually stopped me from buying more, which is not something that has happened before- ever!

I was in the local shop today, and the prices were better online, even with the extra 25% off. And they had hardly any baby stuff at all.

Not impressed.

Just a note on Pumpkin Patch postage ATM - It is taking longer than usual as they have never had items this cheap before so the response has been huge.
They wont debit your credit card until they are sure they have the item in stock - even though it was available online by the time they get to your order it may be gone.
I have ordered quite a few times online but my last 2 orders in (in the last 2 months) have taken 3-4 weeks (when it is usually a week) but the prices have been great and I dont need the clothes until next year.

My parcel arrived today - took 6 business days which is pretty good I think! There were a few things that I ordered which they no longer had any stock of, but I got the majority of my order. Hope everyone else's arrives soon too!

i made an order 10 days ago for $90 looked at my CC statement yesterday and it said pumpkin patch crows nest 17.50 thought it was someone that got my CC details, was going to ring the bank but i rang PP online # and yep it was them most of the stuff wasnt available a phone call would have been nice as i wouldnt have bothered with it as i got stuff to match she said i can send it back but that costs more postage and not worth it for $10 worth, she also said if the items come available they will post the rest out if they do get it in.Hope they dont keep charging the postage.

Still havent heard back from them regarding my order
I got an email pretty much instantly after submitting my order online, but that was it... how long does it take for them to get in contact with you? debit your card?
There's no record of my order when I log in to their website either so I'm not sure whats going on

27/03/2008, 09:16 AM
So does that mean you could potentially order $100 of clothes + $7.50 postage (which is more reasonable), then they only send you $10 of clothes (because they are out of stock of the others) and still charging $7.50?? Then postage is pretty steep in that case... Since they don't contact you to check if you are still want to go through with the transaction, it doesn't seem fair

I just phoned up and only 5 of 17 items in my $200 order where going to be posted so cancelled my order over the phone.
I suggest those of you that ordered over a week ago and have not received anything to call up as most of your order is most likely sold out.
annababy
27/03/2008, 09:54 AM
Same here, i sent them an email, 2 of the things have sold out, they haven't sent the rest of the stuff
I wonder if they would have contacted me if i hadn't emailed them.

PP phoned me this morning - over half my order has sold out

I'd ordered $250 worth - so a lot of stuff has gone....

Oh that is disappointing! I ordered last Tues and haven't heard anything yet.
Seems like they need to get their act together and update their stock on the website regularly.

27/03/2008, 05:07 PM
Actually i read the email wrong that i got from PP, its not 2 of the items are sold out, its all but but 2! So out of the 9 items i ordered im only getting 2

I ordered from PP 2 weeks ago & also noticed I was only charged $17.50 on my CC (I ordered 9 items). I just rang them, one item is on it's way & another 4-5 will be despatched soon & the rest are unavailable

. Can't say i'm overly impressed but at least they will only charge one postage fee regardless of how many parcels they have to send out.

3 of the seven item are out of stock in my order, so they offered me free postage on the rest if i still chose to recieve the rest of my order. Its a bit disapointing tho.

I also put in a big order and received one item in the post when l rang she said l may or may not get the rest so in the end my one item wasnt such a good buy as l had to pay the postage of $10 even though they will send the other stuff free if it ever comes available l was a little dissapointed l must say.

I placed an order on the 18th March and after reading all your posts, called them yesterday. They pulled out my order (which hadn't been filled yet) to check it. They called back and everything but 1 item was out of stock so I cancelled it. Apparently on the 18th, they received 5000 online orders on that day alone!!!
Seriously what chance did I have.

My order isn't looking promising then.
I have already received one email saying that 2 of my items are out of stock but haven't heard about the others.
My Mum bought a dress for my DD when it first went on sale and it was $29.99 down to $19.99, I saw it again when I was shopping at the latest sale and it was now down to $9.99!!
I haven't told my Mum yet, she won't be happy!! At least we got it as it would probably be out of stock now!

I ordered on 17 March, called them this morning, and it turns out they were just about to email me and tell me none of the 11 items I ordered are in stock! So the lady offered me free postage on a new order. But get this...there's still no guarantee that those items I ordered now will be available when warehouse puts the order thru??WTF
So maybe I'll be posting this same thing next week again!

hmmm I just rang them after reading all your responses. I placed an order on the 15/3 of 12 items. I asked her if I could check my order and the convo went like this.
her: "Your order has just been despatched."
me: "Is the order complete?"
her:"No, we are still waiting on some items."
me: "How many items are coming with this order?
her:"One."
me:

"When will I get the others?"
her: "By the end of next week."
me: "So I will definitley get everything?"
her "Yes!"
me:
I really don't know what to think.

I'm just wondering.... can we do this....????
When they had 40% reduction sale, we grab all that we want and then when they had further reduction (50-75% off), can we just refund them and buy them straight???
What do you think, girls?

I knew it was too good to be true. I thought I'd ring again and speak to another customer service officer as what the last one told me didn't seem right and sure enough the next lady tells me that 6 items had sold out. One item was on its way with the others following. Stupidly I forgot to get the first womens name. I asked to speak to the Supervisor as I wasn't happy. After a massive complaint/whinge she is taking off postage and sending me out a $30 gift voucher. She was a very understanding lady and I feel sorry for her as I think a lot of people are going to be peeved.
She is also sending pictures through on the items I'm getting and the items I'm not as when you now punch in the code numbers on the PP site it says they are sold out. I bought things to match and I don't want one without the other.
What a waste of time. I would've been better off going instore. Now I have missed out!

I must have got really lucky (either that or my taste is different

I ordered 15 items on the 14th March and completely forgot till I reread this thread. I've just checked my bank account and they haven't taken the money. They haven't emailed me or rang, pretty poor service if no one is getting their orders. I've never waited more than a week before and it used to be free postage too.
