cut out all alcohol, caffine and sugar
lol, come on it isnt that bad hehehehe, the decaf stuff these days are pretty good, i like the moccona classic decaf (not the fine powder one), and tetley's decaf tea, and laVnzza's decaf for the machine, been on them since when i was pg with nick, now i wont even remember what a normal tea/coffee tastes like, blush.gif

hello, amanda, simone, pebble, RMK, bee, CC, linz, amy, veronica, and many many more nutters original.gif

i am heading off to bed early, nick had a nap in the car on the way home, and wouldnt go back to sleep when we got home, so it was a long 8 -10, 14 hours straight with him in toll, i am going a little mad. we are slowly progressing on TT, now every time i change his nappy i ask him if his pee is coming, he will run to bathroom and stands over the potty. while we were out today, i tried him on those little toilet for kids in parents' room, dont think he was too impressed with it. rolleyes.gif

Wow, new thread time already.

Miranda - I did the no caffine, no alcohol thing when pregnant with DS and BFing (close to 3 years all up). I know it's not all that bad (I actually prefer decaf tea, and LOVE dandelion tea!) but giving it up hasn't given us a BFP in the past so am not completely cutting it all out now. I'll certainly cut down, but life's too short to give up everything you love! I've cut out iced coffees finally, LOL, which are sooo bad for you (lots and lots of sugar)!

BFN this morning, which was expected, and I actually feel like AF is coming today. Wasn't expecting her until Saturday, but is due from today (12 day LP). 13dpo this morning. I didn't expect to be pregnant this month and I'm annoyed at myself for even giving myself a glimmer of hope! Grrr. I hadn't even meant to test, but you know me, LOL. I am happily gearing up for IVF, at least that will give us some real hope. DH has to do his SA tomorrow, LOL, and he's been balking like a baby about it for ages. Sheesh, after all I've been thru (and am about to go thru) you'd think he'd just suck it up and do it. I even have to take it in for him to the clinic, ROFLMAO. Big baby! I told him it's practice for when he has to do it for real on the day of egg pick up. Then when he comes out of the room everyone is going to know what he's been doing tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif I'm so mean, LOL.

Bee - did you test last cycle? That was a light AF and those temps stayed pretty high.....

Morning ladies,

Wow this new thread started quickly.

Twitchy - It's ok get get your hopes up, it might not keep you sane, and bring you down sometimes, but thats ok, we still love you. HAHA to your DH, i would be saying the same thing to DF.

Sorry thats all the personals I can do for now. DS is sitting on my lap getting into everything he's not allowed GGRR

Morning Ladies,

Oh Sue after reading those posts I felt like there was a BFP for sure. I'm so sorry. It's still hard to be let down but as you said, IVF is about to start and it will work honey. You keep up your posotive attitude - you are an inspiration, truly xxxx You're a crack up...your poor man!! I'd be the same with him though hehehehehe!!!!!!

Bee how are you gorgeous?????? I hope you are great.

Hey Miranda. Oh you poor thing with Nick. Jeepers, what a big day for you. I can hardly make it past 8.30 these days. I'm having a scan on Wednesday when I'm 12 weeks. Scanning for typical things at that time. I tend to agree with I think it may have been pebbles, that if there was something wrong I'd rather get prepared. Not having the testing done though because of that, just doing it as part of the typical testing. SO excited and can't wait to see our bubba again!!!!

Hello to Amy, Veronica, HF, Simone, Pebbles, RMK, CC, Linz, Sules, the newbies and all the nut bags I love xxxx

Here's my cracker for the day.....
Now remember my DS is only 13 months......
This morning DH and I were lying in bed laughing at DS yabbering away when he woke up. Next thing we know... THUD. Poor DS had climbed out of his cot and of course fell!!! He's only 13 months and he can climb out!!! AAhhhhhhh....... not quite sure what to do. Dh is going to see if he can drop the base of his cot even lower but will then only be a foot off of the ground!!! At least I know now that when number 2 comes along he can go into a bed!!!

Hope you had a good laugh!
Sarah xxx
~*~clueless~*~
lol, sue, now you can tell him we all know what is he going to be doing, hahahahaha, and we expect excellence none the less dev (6).gif . hooray here comes the IVF!!

kim, is today your regular weekly check up day? wonder how are you doing?

sarah, good luck with the scan. lol@ your son, such a climber!! nick was 18mo when i put him into his bed, and you know what? he had never climbed out of his cot. wink.gif you've got an active boy, hehehe

talking about funny moment, oh well this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but here we goes:

that night we had chinese takeaway for tea, and richard tried to get nick to eat more fried rice, nick screwed up his face and said to richard 'no, p*ss me off', richard couldnt believe his ears and asked him to repeat, and he said it loud and clear 'p*ss me off'. rolleyes.gif so i got all the blame for that, last night, for some reason, nick was over excited and screamed non-stop, richard told him to shut up for a moment, and guess what? nick turned around and said to him 'shut up'. lol, 1 on each, now we are even.
sgirl
Just wondering 2 things...
1. What do I do about the cot/bed situation??? Put him into a bed?

2. What do you do with the daylight savings change and sleeping???

Ta !!!!!!!!!!
pebblesf
Sue – bummer…one more chance though. LOL at your DH! I guess any embarrassment is hard to ignore, even if there is a much bigger picture to focus on.

Sarah – wow you must have a little monkey there! DD is 28 months and still not much of a climber. I would think about putting him into a bed. If he climbs out again he might get a limb caught in the bars and could really injure himself. As for daylight savings, I’ve given up trying to adjust in stages. DD is pretty flexible anyway, hopefully I’ll be able to put her down for sleeps that hour later and she won’t really notice. Of course getting up an hour later in the morning will take some time, if she does it at all…grrrr….

Miranda – hee hee…they hear more than we think they do, don’t they? I still cringe when I remember DD started saying “for f$%’s sake” whenever she got agitated. Thank goodness she hasn’t said it in a while – probably because I’m consciously curbing my language in front of her…although she has started saying “bloody hell” rolleyes.gif

Me – recovering from the mad weather we had yesterday. Lost power for a few hours (no internet! eek!) which made me realise how much I let DD watch TV or a DVD – or at least how I just leave it on in the background. We actually played games and sang songs and things for a while, she thought it was fantastic until she realised the TV wasn’t on and wouldn’t accept my explanations for why I couldn’t turn it on! Had heaps of fun though, and even when the power came back on we were so wrapped up in our little games we didn’t turn it back on until she went to bed. Had a bit of trouble with the candles though – she insisted it must be someone’s birthday and wanted to blow out every candle we lit!

I think I’ve found another way to obsess in TTC world, I like to call it the 2ww for the 2ww (i.e. waiting for O) tongue.gif I’m on CD6 I think and just want to get things moving! Got my OPKs at the ready, starting to temp again, just waiting waiting waiting now….
pegglessister
Hey girls, sorry I havent been on in a few days. Have been having EB troubles and have been so tired and sore that I spend most days drugged to the eyeballs. Anyway, yes, my weekly checkup was yesterday and ......

Bubs is in the lowest percentile weight/size wise, but otherwise healthy and still on an upward growth curve this week, so she is staying put for at least another week. They have moved my elective c/section forward to the 7th May at this stage, but stay tuned cause that could come forward again next week. Me, BP up to 124/85 (high for me), still zero weight gain this preg, and since I am "coping" with the pain hi, ho, hi, ho, off for another week we go.

DH and I have been talking names, he likes Rhiannon, Claire, Caitlin and others that are just too ridiculous to share. I still love Cailin and Paige and Hannah.

Sue: Sorry on the BFN. Have everything I can get crossed, crossed for your IVF cycle.

Sarah: Brooke was 12 months when I walked in and found her standing (yes standing) on the top rail of the cot and watched her fly through the air and land on the bed. Needless to say that day I went out and bought a bed rail and she went into a bed that day for her naps. I placed the bed next to the wall, ran a body pillow down the wall side and put the bed rail up. She started with day naps for a week in the big bed, then went to nights once she was used to it. Oh, and since it is coming into much colder weather - sleeping bags. They dont stay under the covers at that size and they worm all over the bed. Good luck, but yes, time to move up.

LOL at the stories on language and kids repeating. Brookes latest is Daddy is a "bum bum head". Now I definately dont speak like that and neither does DH (our language is usually a little more colourful if we loose it) so it is all daycare, but we also get the "you are not my friend". My baby is growing up so fast..... ROFL. I thought I had at least another year or two before those came in.

Speaking of whom, she is waking up so best go and get ready for my full on hour of motherhood for the day. Will try and get back on later.
riwymk
Morning Ladies,

pegglessister - Glad to hear that bubs is healthy. Love your names choices as well. Claire & Paige are my favs. What is it this year? Everyone is having girls. A friend of mine just had her baby girl last Sunday whom she called Bella wub.gif

pebblesf - I hate when the power goes out. I will admit that I get scared. My first thought is always that someone has turned the power off on us & is going to attack when we go out to the box thing.... Serves me right for watching scary movies when I was younger laughing2.gif
My child may be weird, he never watches TV & won't sit still for even 5 minites of his favourite show.

chezsta - How are you? Hope that Tilds goes well at daycare. She must love the interaction with the other children.

Me - Well going out with my mum & sister this morning to take Riley to see Horton Hears a Who. As I said to pebblesf, he doesn't watch much TV, so I am hoping he behaves for this. He may be facinated(sp?) by the big screen but not sure how he will go with the sound. Guess we will wait & see. Hope its a nice warm day, may go for a swim as well.

Bed time is going great. He is used to it now & goes to sleep as soon as I put him down. And now has a normal routine again (8pm WOO)
Have stopped TT just for a little bit as DS has been sick with a cold & diahroea(sp?) & now has a bad bum/ball rash from it, the poor little guy.

And since we are speaking about what our children say, Riley doesn't cope our swear words, thank god. Well not anymore, he used to say "oh sh*t" when he dropped or spilled something. But he hasn't said that in a while. His new saying, although not rude, is "i farted" laughing2.gif
I can't believe how fast he is growing & learning new things. Why can't I have a baby already???? biggrin.gif

Hope you all have a wondeful day

Morning ladies.

We made a late night dash up the coast to see my MIL before she went into surgery this morning so the SA has been put on hold until next week as we are up the coast. It won't matter when we have it done, as it's not likely to change the IVF thing (unless we find out he has no sperm, which is unlikely). We start forking out IVF money on Tuesday, so worst comes to worst we'll be $200 out of pocket if IVF doesn't go ahead due to the SA (or if I fall pregnant, LOL, as if that will happen!). DH has to "ahem" dump sperm 3 days prior to the SA. Usually we'd just BD, but being up with the ILs that's a bit hard, LOL. SA will happen Monday instead. Anyone know how long it takes to get the results back from an IVF clinic (rather than a pathology lab). We're getting the DNA test done too, which takes a few weeks apparently. Hoping we'll at least get a general idea about the results next week. Will be interesting to see if DH has any issues or if it is just all me (as we've been assuming). Like I said, it won't change the outcome, though, so more just interested to know. AF really felt like she was on her way yesterday, which means she'll be here in the next few days (today or tomorrow). Temp is lowish, but it's bloody cold up here so no surprises there.

Pebbles - love your new saying "in the 2ww for the 2ww!" So true isn't it, we spend our lives in blocks of 2 weeks! My DS is a huge tv/computer/game child and I too let him watch it way too much. I had a friend come over yesterday who's child was "scared" of the tv show that was on. She only lets him watch Playschool and the child is scared of other programs as once he saw a scary program. I thought that was hilarious, because I am definately a slack mum, LOL. Where would we be without the TV babysitter! I never thought I'd let my son watch so much tv, but oh well. We still get out and about regularly so I figure it can't do too much damage, right?!! ROFLMAO. Every mum is different original.gif

Sarah - sorry, can't help you on the daylight saving thing as QLD doesn't have it. With the bed, try it out and see how it goes. I had DS in a bed fairly early on, as he hated the cot. I did have to use the cot as a threat, though, as it took a while for him to get used to staying in the bed (used to want to sleep with us). Maybe get a toddler bed seeing as he's still so young, as it's basically the size of the cot, only without the rails (it uses a cot mattress I'm pretty sure).

Peggles
- Kim, great to hear you are still hanging in there. Wow, I put on 20kgs with DS! Thank goodness for BFing! As it all came off easily (although I have put some of it back on again, LOL). I like Caitlin.

Oh my, so glad to hear my child isn't the only one who comes out with some doosey swear words every now and then!!!!

Anyway ladies, sorry to those I've missed, but must dash to get DS some brekkie. Have a great day all!!!
sgirl
Morning my Lovelies,

Thank you all so much for your advice and help with the bed situation. I think what scares me with doing it is how do you make the switch? As it was, I had to take DS to sleep school when he was 8 months as he wouldnt' sleep and didn't know how to. Up until the age I was pulling my hair out and I just don't know if I could cope with tearign my hair out again right now! I mean I know it will probably be like that whenever he does move.....but ok.....where do I start? He's a kid that wakes at 6 am also but we dont' get him out of his cot until 6.30 am. Now with daylight savings coming...eeekkk!!!!!

chezsta I now DS will be difficult to change too. I'm not looking forward to it at all!!!

pebbles I hear your 2WW - 2WW!!!! I got like that with this pregnancy!!! I love it - it's been recognised!!! So glad to hear that you are so ready to rock and roll!!!! So excited for you

Kim thanks for your fab advice. So start with just during the day then when he gets it swap to night - ok!!! I'm guessing that when (not if) he getes out of bed you just have to keep taking them back there? I feel like DS will see it as a game! I'm so glad to hear that things are travelling pretty much very well for you. At least the little one is healthy and a bonus - that you have no weight to lose after the pregnancy!! I too put on 20 kilos with DS. Bit worried already with how much I've put on now!!!

RMK hope things went well at the movies!!! My niece just saw that movie and she loved it. She's 3.

Sue the cot bed sounds like a good idea. Perhaps he'll stay in the bed because it's similar to his cot....Will have a look around. As for the IL's I say, keep it quiet and go for it!!!! You need every chance! I would be!!!!!!

My poor DS is not great at the moment. He is getting a molar and is just not coping. He's been going to sleep and hour earlier during the day and is miserable. To top it off, he burnt his fingers yesterday and got some horrible blisters.

As for me, I've now got a cold that DH brought home - thanks for that! I just seem to be constantly sick at the moment!!! Still got very mild m/s and feel ok.

Chat to you all soon !!!!
pebblesf
Well don't know WTF is going on with my cycle. Started bleeding lightly this morning. On CD7...? Will see if it stops soon, if not, I'll have to rethink whether the light bleeding I had a week ago was actually AF??? It was very short and light, and if I take that as AF it was a fairly short cycle (26 days). Very confused.

Kim - yay for bubs!

RMK - LOL at the blackout thing! I think I watched those movies too, so luckily the power went out at about 4pm when it was still light original.gif.

Off to do some well overdue housework glare.gif
~*~clueless~*~
oh pebble, my mum lost power for several hours, she is in st albans, lucky us escaped without a scratch, touch wood. hope it didnt last long enough to spoil all the food in your fridge. the bleeding sounds weird, hope your body settles down.

kim, glad to hear bub is doing well. i like paige and caitlin. good luck, i am doing the same thing with richard at the moment, damn man, he doesnt like this, doesnt like that, but couldnt came up with some productive suggestions blink.gif

sarah, with daylight saving, i remember i was told to move the bedtime backwards 10mins a day, so within a week, they will back to their usual bedtime, never tried myself though, i am not that disiplined original.gif. good luck with the big bed, you never know, if your DS is like the boy of my friend, who had sleeping issue until they moved him to big bed, apprently he was scared of cot, feeling a tad closetrophobic (sp?), if you dont shut his bedroom door, maybe it is a good idea to put a safety gate so he wont be able to get out while you are asleep. nick used to turn round and round in his cot, i think the big bed helps him to understand the direction, where the head and foot are, we went cold turkey with him, moved the bed in, cot out and that was it, it took him a week to settle down. anyway good luck with it.

hello sue, hello RMK, hello chezsta, hello everyone wub.gif big big wave and hello from me. i should go have some lunch before dinner time rolls up. wink.gif

The u/s results are that there is a 2.7cm cycit on my left overary and has hamariged. They beleive that is where he pain is coming from. So I doubt I'll get a bfp this month too.
~*~clueless~*~
sorry stace, so what the plan of attack? is it going to be surgically removed? or another scan after AF?
Mylittlefamily
their going to do another scan in a month to see if its gone or not. He didn't say what would happen next if it doesn't.
~~~
Evening ladies,
Stace - sorry to hear about the cyst. At least you know what is causing the pain. What can you take for the pain?
Re: new bed etc - when DD fell out of bed on her head..yes her head and we were in the room ohmy.gif we took the dropside off her cot and that became her bed. She was really really good and it didn't seem to tweak that she could actually get out all by herself. It took a while before we started the to and fro for the coming out of her room. We try and give her a choice with things, and it became with this that the door could stay a little open if she stayed in bed, or it would be closed. Worked most of the time from what I can remember. But then again, my memory ain't what it used to be wink.gif
It was my last day at work today, got a new temp assignment for the next 2 weeks, need to be super organised for it....please send motivated vibes my way blush.gif hands.gif
Sue - Best of luck for IVF! I had so much hope when you said you had a second line on 2 confirms sad.gif. Has AF arrived yet?
I hope your MIL is alright.
Kim - It's good to hear that bub is going great, despite mum being the opposite. Not long to go now, not that that's much consolation when you're in pain sad.gif
I am so sorry to hear that your sis's NT results came back with bad results. Has she decided to go for the amnio after all? (sorry if I missed something, I've only skimmed through the posts)
Hello everyone else. I'm sorry I have been MIA lately and that my personals are a bit lacking. I am just soooo busy. Sometimes I worry that I've bitten off more than I can chew. I have just spent the last 7.5 HOURS working on a uni assignment. So far I have 3 paragraphs done laughing2.gif.
Hi Ladies waves.gif
I thought it was about time to joing a TTC buddy group. do you mind if i jump aboard this one?
a little about myself:
My name is Tess, I'm 22 and a SAHM, with no desire as yet to go back to work. I've been married to DH (a baker) for 2 years and we have a DD - Neve who is 14 months, & we live in Canberra. and we have been TTC#2 since June last year. Last August I suffered an ectopic pregnancy, although we were TTC, we didn't realise we were PG until it was too late, and I lost my right tube. So after a looooong 6 month wait (ok we only waited till 4 months tongue.gif cause i couldn't wait the whole 6 months cry1.gif ), we commenced TTC in december. and this is where we are now. I'm not doing too much in the way of charting or temping, just the good old OPK of ebay, as well as BD when we get the chance laughing2.gif
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, and hopefully sharing our BFP together.
riwymk
Hi Tess & welcome. I hope that your stay is short & sweet. The ladies here are wonderful
Trina - lovely pictures, E looks thrilled being able to hold bub, you all look to happy & you look great by the way.
Stace - sorry to hear about the cyst. I'm supried they didn't get you have surgery since its burst, isnt that dangerous? Well I hope that the pain killers work & you get some more answers asap.
geminilinz - Hope those assignments sort themselves out soon.
veronica - sending motivation vibes your way.
Hello to all the other ladies, hope you are having a good weekend.
me - I havent been feeling too well today & just realised AF is 2 days late... So I will be POAS around the 7th & let you ladies know.
I'm a littler nervous I must admit as DF & i had stopped TTC for now. But of course, once you stop trying it all comes into place.
We are off to see my dad today, he has been in hospital (not sure why, he wont tell me).
Also 2 friends of mine have given birth this week, one had a little boy & the other had a little girl (they arent on this site)
Stace: so sorry to hear about the cyst. hopefully now they now what the cause of your pain is they can address it and fix it right up and your BFP dreams will come true.
Tess: Welcome. Enjoy this BG. We are the best buddy group in the world and as you can tell, alot of us dont leave once we are successful. Our own little support network around here. So sorry to hear about your eptopic preg too and loosing your tube. Hope your BFP comes soon for you.
Linz: You make me so tired babe. You are a dynamo. 7 hours for 3 paragraphs sounds a little like procrastinating though - you sure you werent watching 17 million auctions on ebay at the dame time. LOL.
ETA: Trina: Such gorgeous pics. Elana looks so pleased with her baby sister. Hope they are both being angels for you.
OK, off to wake up DH to organise him getting me something yummy to eat then send him and DD off to get the groceries.
P.S. I am so over resting. All I do is sleep, eat and watch TV and spend a fortune on ebay since I cant get out and shop. Probably wouldnt be so bad if the pain reduced or something, but nup, always wake up in just as much pain as I went down with. whinge, whine, whinge, whinge
Isabellas Mum
Hi ladies
Been busy all work so didn't get a chance to post.
Hope all your weekend is going ok.
Went into Big W this morning to buy a harness for Isabella's booster seat and DH fixed it to the car today.
Cleaned the house, rearranged the lounge and put together our spare bed that my aunt gave us as ours was taken to the dump. Cleaned Isabella's room. Now I am stuffed lol.
Tomorrow going to markets to get my vegies and head over to Toys R Us. In the arvo Isabella has a play date with a little girl that she used to go to family day care with, I am catching up with her mum and the girls can play at the same time which is good.
Man the weekend goes too quick.
Still waiting for AF to turn up, has been 4 wks 4 days since D&C was done, don't feel pregnant so just waiting for it to turn up. Think I O'd on 26th March.
Trina, beautiful pics.
Stace, sorry to hear about the cyst.
Tess, welcome to the group.
RMK, fingers crossed you get a BFP
Hello to everyone else.
Anyhow gotta go. Have a great weekend everyone.
bee0406
Morning Ladies,
Well I am back from my holiday at Dad's it was nice, relaxed a little. Had a very busy week at work this week and am completely exhausted.
I was suppose to O on Tuesday 1/04, but have gotten -opk's, Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs. Just for the hell of it, I took my temp on Wed (wasn't temping this month, was "suppose" to take a break). Anyway it was 36.95, which is in my post O range, usually getting there around 3-7dpo. I also had spotting on cd14/15 (which is to early in my cycle for anything). So I have no idea what is going on this month, sort of wishing I had of been taking my temp this month but oh well.
SUE - So sorry to hear you got a BFN after getting a BFP, I was soooooo hoping it was a BFP, when I read your earlier post. Has AF arrived? No I didn't test last cycle and I was thinking the same about the short light period, but got that idea out of my head pretty quickly. That is how my last pg started and we know how that turned out. So the possibility of a new pg starting the same well, scares the hell out of me. So trying not to even think about that possibility.
SARAH - wub.gif Your so sweet, I haven't been called gorgeous in ages laughing2.gif I am actually not doing all that great, but I am managing just. With your cot/bed issues, I would try and put him in a bed. Will is almost 20mth and I still haven't put him into a bed yet, but he hasn't tried to climb out of the cot yet either. Sorry Qld doesn't have daylight savings so can't help you with that question.
MIRANDA - Had to laugh about Nick and his language. DH said the other day Bugger Me and what comes out of Will's mouth straight away. When at Dad's he swore, but thankfully Will didn't hear it, but dad's partner did and told him to me careful with what he says. So my dad kept saying Argh, cause he was doing jobs around the house and you guessed it Will starting saying Argh. We started saying to him what does Poppy say and he would reply Argh, it was so cute.
CHEZSTA - Welcome, good luck with your TTC journey.
PEBBLESF - I hear you on the 2ww wait for the 2ww, but unfortunately mine is 3ww wait. sad.gif WIth not knowing what your cycles are doing. Your body has been through a lot, so it may just take a little for it to get back on track.
KIM - Glad to see you are still hanging in there, I thought for sure I would come back to news of your new arrival. Glad to hear that bub is doing well.
STACE - Sorry to hear that you have a cyst, at least you know why you were in so much pain. I don't know if you remember, but I had a cyst burst in my last cycle and it was excuitating. I have also had cysts in the past that have ruptured. I have never had a cyst removed though, they always just rupture. I am actually not sure if they do remove them, the Drs have never given that as an option with me. Sorry probably not what you wanted to hear. I have also heard that your body can just absorb them with not much stress at all.
TRINA - Gorgeous pics, you have to adorable little girls there.
TESS - Hi and welcome.
RMK - My fingers and toes are crossed for you, I hope you get a BFP, are you testing tomorrow? Good luck.
Hi waves.gif Verionica, Missmiasmummy, RMK, Linz, Simone, Nichole and everyone else I may have missed.
Tess - I'm not 100% sure but I thought the side that you lost a tube, whenever your O (mostly every other month, cos you O from alternate ovaries per month) the sperm wouldn't be able to meet the egg. Can someone please tell me if thats wrong ? At least thats what my friends doctor told her unsure.gif
Sue - Oh well bring on IVF wink.gif
Sorry for the lack of personals, it's been a very long w/e.
Take care wink.gif
Hey there fellow nutters i am so sorry i havent been in for ages. i assumed it had been quiet in here cause i havent received an email notification of a post for over a week since beginning of the thread and now i got an email and 5 pages to catch up on ohmy.gif blink.gif lol oh well i have read but cant do personals cause there is too much going on and i forget what i just read lol. but i do remember our newbie tess welcome my dear i am Amy mummy to my gorgeous girl Mia who is 10 months old will be one in 6 weeks ohmy.gif where has the time gone but yeah i am in the middle of designing party invitations for mia's party. if you have time could u please come to this link Invitations maybes and tell me your favourites? i am having trouble picking which one i will use. i have actually made like 20 but these are my faves.
Also an update from us well we are stil waiting for our consult with the surgeon on june 5th for dh's durgery so not much happening on that front until then unless we get in due to a cancellation but either way after consult there is about a 6 month wait for surgery. and we have to get some spermies into the sperm bank ASAP but i need about $320 its $160 for initial deposit and then $160 every 6 months storage and we need to pay the first 6 months up front. so thats through the local ivf clinic and as soon as i can afford it i will be getting it done but i assume dh's sperm count has dropped again cause its been a month since the last count and considering there was a month in between counting last time when it dropped 5% so i need to get the bank storage done ASAP. But we are keeping positive and still TTC. but we are under strict instructions from doctor to only BD on day of O and my chart was all over the shop the last 2 months, i missed this month cause af sneaked up on me on day 26 whereas my last cycle was 47 days so i have no idea. i am doing opks every day from day 9 this cycle so i dont miss it again. cause we are not allowd to bd for at least 2 weeks before o day and dh cant relieve himself or anything cause the doc wants us to let as much store up as possible for the best chances of falling naturally. anyway so i have blabbed on enough for one night. sorry for no personals but u have all chatted too much for me to catch up. i worked 6 days this week 48 hours so i am screwed !!!!! talk to u all soon and sending lots of love. i am in the middle of making a new signature so i will be back later to show it off wub.gif grin.gif
I was just wondering what you ladies wold do
Below is a quote from the results
Pelvic Ultrasound
THe uterus is normal. The endometrial liining mesures 8mm. No abnormality is seen in the emdometrium and myometrium.
The right ovary is normal.
In the left ovary a complex cyst with maximum dimemnsion of 2.7cm is seem, with a fluid filled layer. This suggests most likely a left ovarian follicle with recent ovualtion and haemorrhage. A small amount of fluid is also seen in the cul-de-sac.
Would you test for a BFP that might not be there??
Ok here is my new sig but i am not happy with it so i will make another but it will do for now grin.gif
Morning Nutters,
I have been MIA for a long while, first we had the gastro then last monday i got a call that my parents and grandmother where rushed to hospital. It seems they where all poisened by the spinach they had eaten for dinner because my dad sprayed it a few days before but something went wrong and they all got very sick. Mum was the worse and my bro said we came close to losing her but thank god everyone is fine now and they are all home recovering.
They live on the coast so i have been up and down last week and just spent the weekend with them so i am feeling very tired and i have a lot of housework to catch up on.
Trina your girls are just gorgeous.
Ok i have to run as DD wants breakfast, i will attempt to come back later for personals.
Cheers Ladies
Stace: Really dont have any answers for you, but from what I understand, cysts can play havoc with your cycles, but dont necessarily stop you from O'ing, and it could be an egg release. If AF doesnt rear her ugly head in a few days I would certainly test.
MiasMummy: Wishing you the best of luck getting the money together. Have everything crossed for you. OPK's are probably your best shot at hitting the egg, but if you temp as well, you should get an indication of when to test 2, 3, 4 times a day to hit it just right. Some of the others are more expert than me. Will have a look at your invites a bit later once I have had some brekkie.
Michelle: OMG what a scary thing for your parents. I hope that everyone is fine now. Must be so tiring for you too. Hope things settle soon.
Tess: I never have, but I do know of people who swear they do, so perhaps you are just more aware cause you are wanting to conceive?
RMK: Any news??????? ph34r.gif
Bee: Great to hear from you. Have fingers crossed you catch the egg soon.
Sue: So its all a go for IVF then. Will be watching and waiting with baited breath.
OK guys. Seriously gotta go and eat something. Am feeling this baby moving around yelling at me to eat so best I obey or suffer the consequences. BBL. Love and hugs to all who need em.
Hey nutbags. How are we all? There's so much catch up on and I've only been gone 2 days!! Been so sick with thise rotten cold. Good thing is, so far, DS hasn't caught it.
Welcome along Tess. I hope this journey is short for you and I'm so sorry about your pregnancy. Must have been a hard time for you. Before I had our Ds, I used to experience every single month, but since him I haven't!
Amy I wish you all the luck honey. I would temp as well. I went just with temping and it's the best indicator.
Bee it's great to hear from you. Keep your chin up and thanks for your bed advice!
Trina you are one gorgeous family. Alice is so much like you and your DD!!!! So gorgeous - thanks for sharing.
Stace I'm not really sure but can you ring and discuss the possibility of being preg with your GP? I can't offer any advice sorry hun.
Sue what a pain but that was funny with your keyboard!!!
Hello Nutters,
Amy - I think I like number 2 and number 5 the best original.gif
Tess - How did you go with Dr Google ? laughing2.gif I'm very interested to know now as well original.gif
Stace - Yes you can get a BFP. People who have bigger cysts and alot more cysts can get BFP's. The cyst "can" stop you Oing. You might of O'd on the other side this month also. Good luck. Have you had any BT's to check your hormone levels ?
Mich79 - OMG how scary for your family! I hope they all recover soon.
A big Hello to everyone else, like always gotta run. Cheers.
ETA - RMK ................ did you test ????
riwymk
hey all waves.gif
Simone - I have searched a bit and this is what i have found:
QUOTE
Is it true that I ovulate on alternate sides each month?
This varies from woman to woman. Some women will ovulate from the same side each month with an occasional ovulation from the other side, while others will ovulate randomly from side to side. It depends on which ovary contains the egg that is at the right stage of development. However, it probably does not matter as an egg from one ovary can travel down the tube on the other side. In the past, the ovary on the side of the ectopic was removed as part of the operation but this is no longer carried out, as it was not found to be beneficial.
so would you take that as my right ovary's eggs, can do a jump over to my lfet tube somehow and ta da, it is classed as ovulating every month? hmm this is confusing.
RMK - how are you doing this arvo? AF stayed away? maybe it could be a little inplantation bleed???
how is everyone else today?
