This group is for members who are TTC’ing now, not next month or next year but now and has been set up for TTC chat and support.

I have set it up after some feedback from members and other Moderators.

Rules for this Group
The reason that these rules are in place is because often the groups that start become very close knit and eventually new members don't feel comfortable to join, especially when many members have had their BFP's. So this thread
is to be an ongoing one with members leaving as they get BFP's and joining as they start their TTC journey.

1. This is an ongoing group. New members are free and welcome to join at any time and members will change as some leave with BFP's and others join to start their journey.

2. If you get your BFP please move on to your appropriate DIG this thread will strictly be for those TTC’ing once that happens then you need to move on. You may announce your BFP but anything beyond that will not be permitted and I will remove posts without warning (this sounds harsh but it necessary to ensure that this remains as it is intended).

3. No other groups (ie Buddy Groups) will be set up from this area. Once you graduate from this area then the Due In Groups is the place to go.

I will set up a new thread when the post count reaches 100 posts and will keep a close eye on the thread to see that the rules are followed.

As I said this is a trial to start with but I can put it in to permanency if everyone likes it and uses it for the reason it is here.

If you have any comments or suggestions please feel free to pm me rather than posting in this thread – keep it just for TTC’ing chat.

All the best ladies and I hope that each of you have short stays here and that you get to move to the Due In Groups very quickly.

mommymoo - no i won't be testing until wednesday. Thats only because i have only 1 test and the nearest shop is an hour away. Plus the fact i am terrified of getting another BFN and want to wait for AF to arrive instead.

HAPPY MOTHER's DAY to all of you !!! I hope you have a wonderful day and get spoiled rotten.

I got a WII and a WII fit for mother's day (off my beautiful fur baby) hahaha although I can't get the boys off it (DH, my cousin & my nephew)

AF found her way to me this morning !!! Although I am not surprised and strangely I am ok with it this month (as long as next months she stays away !!!0

Waiting for Bree, Tash & goinground again to test next will be in to check up

Well we aren't doing anything today. DH rolled his ankle and has a suspected broken finger, from footy yesterday so he is sitting on his bum with his leg in the air. So lucky me has just finished making breaky for everyone and i have a dirty kitchen waiting for me.

On the plus side DS made me a long stemmed flower at school and it was lying next to my pillow when i woke up this morning. It has a ferrero roche (sp?) centre.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to post that I did 2 HPTs this morning and got two WOOHOO!!!

I am still cramping like AF is around the corner, but I am sooooo tired and my boobs are a little tender.

Well I am that there will be a few more BFPs soon and will wait for a few of you to join the Due in Group......I will DEFINITELY be lurking here to see how the testing goes for everyone! GOOD LUCK!

Loveanother - just reading previous thread and this new one, no time to do normal post (will come back in the morning and do all my personals!) just wanted to say about the SA test....cloudy liquid is perfectly normal!

TMI........and what it feels like when you BD is heaps...but when you look at it in the little jar you think "surely that can't be it???" but it is! I remember thinking that when I looked at the jar...but then my DH's volume was right smack in the middle of normal so don't worry about that!

Whats the earliest symptoms anyones had of being pregnant?!!? Has anyone had them within a week of conception?

Woo Hoo Tasha Congratulations have a lovely safe and uneventful 8 months

Lunch was lovely and I got a ridiculously expensive dressinggown and PJs and a gorgeous necklace my DS made for me. So spoilt.

Just wondering what people think. I got a neg OPK today but a bit darker than yesterday. We BD last night and I was thinking of skipping tonight and BD again tomorrow night I saw that on the sperm meets egg plan that they reccomend you BD every 2nd day til a positive OPK. As my positive could still be 3 or 4 days away I thought it better than depleting DH's supply.

What are your thoughts?

Eviesmum Hey, glad to hear you got spoilt rotten today!! I too had a FAB day and just finished eating a roast lamb that Hubby cooked for us.

RE- Sperm supply I asked my GP about depleting supplies if you BD everday and she said "No, as long as its no more than once day, (sperm useless basically after one ejac a day) its fine to BD everyday" If you are up to it.
I prefer every other day so we dont get bored

Her way of thinking was even if you only get 100,000 (compared to millions if a huge build up??) in there every day its better than none!! (makin up those numbers ) But I think you get the idea?

Tasha - that is bloody fantastic news !!! About time we got the BFP's going again! YAY!!!!

As you can tell, i have made it through a weekend in sydney. Spent today at the movies with my older kids, then picked up the younger ones and had a picnic in the park - was so nice.

Well i couldnt keep my big mouth shut - my SIL now knows her brother and I are now TTC. She has been trying for about 12 months and she asked some advice. Well she put 2+2 together when i started talking cause i had learnt so much from you guys....ah well, had to come out sooner or later. Would of prefered the later though.

Me - I'm 9DPO and (.)(.) are still sore, temps are still high, bloated, heart burn etc....had none of these symptoms before, so not sure if its good or my body tricking.

Would love someone to look at my chart and tell me if its good? PLEEEEEASE!

Lorri - Your chart looks good to me but I am no chart expert but all this damn study is starting to rub off (huge maternity assignment is doind my head in!!!) that Tasha has started a huge BFP avalanche!!! Do you think you can hold off testing till Wednesday?? Or will you test early?? I'll be watching!!

BBL - These assignments are doing my head in - AAARRRGGGHHH!!! I am sooooooo over it!!! At least I have prac in a week, can't wait to get back into it!!!

Morning Ladies I am feeling tragic. think i migh have a kidney infection my back aches and peeing is different to usual. Am suppose to be at work but called in sick. I am so over this placement and i think the stress is catching up with me.

Lorri Chart looks fantastic your on such a shirt cycle thougg does that affect ttc. i O on day 13 this month and that means with my usual 12 day LP i will be getting AF on the 22ndd which is the day before DF bday Better be a BFP... when you testing?

chloesmum i understand the whole assignment stuff. i woudl love to say just pull your head in but i am having a mental health day today as i think i am loosing the plot with assignments, placement and 3 kids

Do you think that matters i missed the MAIN day? Were trying so hard this month to be good... i hope i didnt stuff up by letting him sleep

edited got another question: why is it FF says to BD like crazy before O and SMEG says to do it after O? isnt it too late after???

ME - I'm at CD 27 and i have myself down for testing tomorrow.
I dont know if I'm gonna bother or not coz I'm sure I can feel AF on her mean and nasty way. I don't know for sure when I'm due this month, my cycles are usually about 28 - 30 days but last month it was only 26 TTC is doing weird things to my body lol.

mommymoo - can you add me for testing on 22nd May.
We've tried the every other day bit. CD 11/13/15/17. Its actually been much more enjoyable than DTD every day for a few peak days.

I'm always so happy to see a BFP! Gives us all hope!!!! CONGRATS TASHA!!!!
chloesmum - I totally agree - I'm wishing for a BFP avanlanche too!!!!

Good luck to all the Assignment writers!!! Do you find it a good distraction when in the 2WW or it justs adds to the stress?? I have found that doing 2 peoples jobs at work has been a wonderful way to distract me from TTC! Although I feel a bit stressed generally.

Right - I'm half asleep - I got in at 7.45 this morning which is way too early for me!! and I am trying to persuade myself that yes I do want to go for a run at Lunchtime... ahhhhh need to exercise.

Congrats Tasha! Great news and fantastic Mother's Day pressie to yourself!

I think I'm getting a cold or something, my head hurts, my body hurts, my throat hurts and I feel really I might go home early today I think! Feel very sorry for myself. Am also glad we weren't going to try much this month as FF puts me as O-ing on CD8! And definately no BD happened.....I think it could be wrong though as getting sick might have sent my temps in the wrong direction!

I am too scared to test, i'm waiting for AF.

Normally she will be there when i wake up in the morning so fingers crossed (& toes, legs, arms & anything else if it, at all helps.) she stays away.

Dh asked me last night if i thought i was pg. I of course then went on a massive explaination about how i have no idea, and its so frustrating at this stage of the cycle not knowing either way yada yada yada. I think he was sorry he asked. he said don't you have one of those little stick things? I said AF is due on tuesday if she doesn't show then i will test. Poor DH come tomorrow and AF has arrived.

Sorry i am rambling, the day cannot go quick enough for me.

jen - sorry your getting sick. CD8 wow hopefully your temps were out and you O'ed later.

pinga - your so good to go for a run. I am only motivated to do it when i go to training, never by myself.

mommymoo - Oh thats no good you are sick. I had a kidney infection a few years ago and spent the night in hospital. Not a pleasant thing to be happening.

Hey Mommymoo! I have no idea when to test, even when to test at all, because my last AF was on the 4th Feb, and I am still waiting for my next, so no real idea as to when i ovulated ? I have been to the doctors and blood test came back neg

And JINKY - you were asking about early symptoms....not sure if this had anything to do with the pregnancy, but about 6 days after O, I was so sick I had to stay home from work. I felt like I was hit by a truck, all my muscles ached and I was so tired I could barely get off the couch. It went away in a day and a half.

ME Off for my u/s 2mrw I think? I was going to cancel it cause our DS is unwell and has a coldsore so he cant go to c/care 2mrw. THANKFULLY Mum said its ok to drop him off to her in the am for an hour or so while I have the u/s done...... PHEW!!
Im sure mother nature is doing its best to work against us having these damn tests
Making me wonder thats for sure.
Hubby should get his results today, hopefully if he remembers to ring and check, I have kindly reminded him but that doesnt mean anything

I certainly hope I haven't O-ed so early, although it has a teeny chance of working this month without medication, we were going to give it a go anyway. I do doubt I have O-ed though as I normally get alot of other signs and haven't had them as yet.

Loveanother - good luck for your U/S tomorrow. If mother nature really didnt want you to have that test, your mum wouldnt be able to mind your DS so please think positive. Hope DH remembers to get his results and all is well.

Eviesmum - hope your DD gets well soon. And for a reminder why the 3rd - look at your DD when she is sleeping tonight - thats enough for me. They are peaceful angels that i will die for when they are sleeping - debatable when they are awake (only joking).

Me - well testing on Thursday if AF doesnt show its head before hand. I purposely didnt buy any tests last week so that i would have to wait and not get disappointed with an early test. Body is still playing tricks so the jury is out on whether i think it will be a BFP or not. Probably not.

Loveanother - i think its just natural to get worried about your U/S. If you didnt worry, you wouldnt care, catch 22.
Sorry to hear you didnt get your DH's results, it must be adding to the worry as well and as for being at home alone, why not take the opportunity and run a bath, have a nice cuppa and light some candles and try to relax. Maybe send hubby a text - wake me up when you get home honey? Will come back tomorrow afternoon and for some news of your tests.

Me - I am officially in the 2WW now. I will put up my testing date tomorrow, because FF is likely to change my O day to CD14 I did got 2 +OPK tests on CD14 and 1 +OPK test on CD15. From other symptoms I am fairly sure I O'ed on CD14. I really hope the next 2 weeks goes quickly.

ME - Well testing day is today - but i dont have any tests My parents have come to visit for a couple of weeks and they are borrowing my car while they are here (I get dropped off and picked up at my classes like a lil girl lol) If AF stays away today i might have to steal DP's car tonight and do a late night supermarket run.... sneaky sneaky lol

Well AF has decided to play tricks on me. She hasn't shown herself yet, and i was up twice during the night to check. I used my one and only test this morning cause i couldn't stand it any longer, so while i used FMU i did go to the toilet at about 3am, so not the most concentrated FMU. i would love to say that there was a second line but i think it was just my eyes playing tricks on me so will have to call it a BFN. Just have to wait it out until she arrives now i guess.
