Huggies has a great special at the moment, so they are on equal terms with the low cost nappies, which I regualarly buy. But I was thinking of stocking up on huggies, starting from the newborn size to the larger sizes, as many of my friends etc are pregnant, and was wondering if you didn't know the sex of your baby what sex nappy, boy or girl is the best to buy in regards to the padding or the filling in the nappy? What is the difference between the two, except for colour of course lol

Thanks for you help

I've head the only difference is the colour from some people, others say boys have more padding at the front, girls underneath. either way keep the receipts and they you can change them once the baby is born.
BTW where are they on a great special?

dont forget that alot of new mums do the stock piling too.
I would go for Boy nappies becouse i use them as night nappies for all my kids (when they all had nappies) i had all belly sleepers and boys have the gel at the front so they didn't get the wet belly.
Not sure that the price they are at the moment are worth stock piling that much. the are oftern on special for $29 you just have to look for them.

If you're referring to the special of $29.95, it's at Big W stores (in Central West NSW anyway!). I have stockpiled, as I find these to be the best for my little one as she is tall they seem to fit her better.

i stocked on new borns as we didn't know what we were having and then as he grew, I went and changed the boxes over, they were fine with that, just keep your receipts, I taped mine to the boxes.
Also don't forget go to k-mart and get them to price match them and you can also layby

Agree with PP nappies are always on special, I seem to hardly get through my 2 boxes before I see them advertised on special again.

Personally, I'd stick with just the newborns as gifts anyway. It's a more immediate gift for a new mum, and if she ends up with too many, she can always upsize them to right ones.
And the $29.95 sale is on pretty regularly.

I too stocked up i put them on lay by, have 10 weeks to pay them off. Also keep the receipt and you can change from boy to girl.
Gees you are a great friend buying them for others.
