My dear friend in Sydney has sent a lovely expensive designer type baby t shirt as a gift for Llewelyn.

But it's too small!! (I wish it fitted me, it's very cool, grunge even)

I've already emailed thanks (that was before I'd tried it on him), but really it's so tight that he'll never wear it, unless i want him to look like a punk rocker.

Given that it was probably quite expensive, well, how expensive can you get with tiny baby t shirts? but maybe $25-$30, should i tell her, so she can exchange it? or just keep it.
I'm tending the the latter. I can always re-gift it i suppose.

I would probably just keep it and re-gift it or give it away.

To take the other option you would have to post it back to Sydney and then she would have to go to the hassle of exchanging it and then posting it back (at a cost). It's possible too that she might have bought it from somewhere she doesn't go to regularly or from where it is hard to exchange (such as a market stall).

It's the thought that counts after all.

Put it on one of his teddy bears and he can keep the bear AND the shirt forever!

If she is close to you, I would mention it and then have it exchanged maybe from the same store in your state.
If not "close", then I would re-gift it to someone else to enjoy original.gif

Personally I wouldn't mention that it doesn't fit.

I love BBlessed's idea of putting onto a teddy!
Swizzle
I would probably keep it to re-gift.

Maybe take a photo of him in it just in case, without it looking too small if that's possible.

Me too.

Put it on him now if its not too small and take a photo if your not going to tell her. That way you can always send her a photo of your bub in it.
