Has anyone used them for an ASD assessment? We were supposed to be going through Spectrum for DS3's assessment but they're not taking on new referrals until March/ April, so our paed has recommended Time for a Future in Woodend, although she would like the assessment done sooner rather then later, she said she doesn't mind who we go through and wouldn't mind waiting until april if we are prepared to wait that long, its just a matter of writing a new referral. So I just wanted to know if anyone has used either spectrum or time for a future and which one would be best?
We went through CAMHs in bendigo for the other 2 boys assessments but apparently because were out of that zone by a couple of k's we're not eligible to use them again.

Hi,

We went to Time For A Future in August 07, saw Bruce Tonge was impressed. Very straight to the point and explains everything. Had spoke to a few people who have gone there and have only have positives. Good Luck

I know someone who went there and was also impressed.
The team working there are very highly regarded and I think it would be hard to find more experienced people. Check out Monash Uni's Act Now site and you will see what they have been involved in.
