Hi all,
DH bought me some digital scales last night from Target (they are on special for $35) so, I've now made my final decision to stay at home and do WW by myself as before. I couldn't go back to the meeting today anyway as we had a funeral to go to

So, today I weighed myself on my old analogue scales and lost 1kg (maybe a little bit more but it's too hard to say with the old analogue reading!!). Anyway, I then weighed myself on the new digital scales so I could work out the difference and will now be weighing myself on the digi's from now on!
So, next week I'll be able to let you all know EXACTLY how much I lose. Can't wait!!
SydneyMum & Lil_Wombat, contracts on the huge weight loss. FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC!!
Sammy; good on you for your 600gm loss. Keep up the good work!
Tanya, I've lost 11kgs so far with another 22kgs to go - I hear ya, sista!! Lets just DO IT!! I'm b/feeding too although there's not much milk left in these kegs so I don't know how much longer I can squeeze them dry for. I'm currently having 28 points per day as my dd only feeds 3-4 times a day now.
Kimberleigh - Well done for getting back on track and not throwing in the towel. You need to give yourself a huge pat on the back for being strong. How many times have we all fallen off the wagon and said; "well, I've blown it now. May as well finish these 3 mars bars in the fridge!!" and then never get back on track. Good on ya girl!
Welcome, Crissty. Good on you for walking twice a day. I try to walk once a day (my route is approx 50mins) but am finding it really hard to fit it in (between lunches and the girls sleeping and the sorry weather!!). I'm hanging for daylight savings when I can go by myself once DH is home.
I'm keen for setting up a group. How do we do it? Crissty, do you know how to do it & do you want to start it off?
I have a 'manual' slide points calculator (which I just love and would die without!!). Do those with the electronic ones recommend them?
I'm finally cooking some things out of my 'Too Good to be True' books. Tonight I'm cooking spicy apricot lamb casserole (6 points per serve) and it's cooking as we 'speak'! It smells devine!! Friday, I'm cooking chicken & cashew stir fry. I'll let you know if they're as good as they look!
I was a snacker too (never really got time to eat properly). Now, the things that 'save' me are:
Cheese on toast (real cheese - I can't eat that low fat rubbish!! I'd rather have the real stuff in smaller serves!!)
Nestle diet desserts
WW mousse (packet form)
Low fat flavoured milk
low cal soft drinks (low cal Fanta is really yummy. Just like the real thing!)
low fat choc chip bisc (Lites brand)
low fat ice cream
rice cakes
apples (or any fruit - especially grapes at the moment)
Banana smoothie (made only with low fat milk and a frozen banana. By freezing the banana it makes it nice an thick & frothy)
Heinz Low fat 'rice cream'
When it comes to meals, I just love Lean Cuisine (or similar sort of things). They are quick, yummy and the cals/fat are already worked out for you (per serve I mean. You still need to convert them to points with your calculator). I had a Lean Cuisine chicken laksa for lunch today (5 points) and it was yummmo!
Anyway, my dinner is just about ready (and I've raved on enough!!). Must go now.
If I've forgotten anyone for losing, sorry! A bit fat Congrats to all who have lost!
Have a great week everyone!
