I have started putting my 3 week old on S26 formula because of bf issues (which is another story!) and have noticed that I havent had a dirty nappy today since about 2am this morning. Only wet ones. I was getting several dirty nappies per day. Should I be worried? Im not sure if the formula is constipating him or not. What can I do if he is constipated and how can I tell if he is suffering?

I think that is very normal. Especially as his little tummy still has to get used to the formula. My DS is on Formula and he goes once a day, however sometimes it is once every two days. When we changed his formula it took him a couple of days to get used to it.
If you have any concerns and he hasnt gone in over two days, try some warm boiled water and a little bit of brown sugar. I found that did wonders.
All the best

if his poos are soft and pass easily then no problem, expect a reduction in amount of poos each 24 hour with formula, and the consistency will also change to that of playdough! Infrequent doesn't necessarily mean constipation.
