On one of the morning shows today, there was one of the presenters wearing a pink shirt.
My DH commented that he would not wear pink anything....
I dont personally care one way or another whether a man does or does not wear pink.
Would or does your DH wear pink?
GLRR
Would mine, not a chance.
Ashtonsmum
My DH wouldnt wear a business shirt that was pink, but he does have a polo shirt with a fair bit of pink on it...
insomniac
No way! DS was wearing a very pale pink pumpkin patch tshirt recently and he asked why he was wearing pink :xmas_laugh:
!!!
Nope :xmas_sad:
LisaMaree82
Mine wouldn't. My DS looks awesome in pink.
SmallPotatoes
Yep for sure... My DH has 3 pink polo shirts that he wears frequently as well as a pink shirt that he wears with his suit as well... It really suits him (and more than pink suits me infact!)
~MakkaPakka~
Nope - not at all.
rokate
NOT IN A MILLION YEARS Except he has a vivid Hot pink shirt that he brought because his sister wanted him to wear to her deb ball... How sweet. But that was only time and will stay like that.
epa
Yes, why not?
BurningBright
Yes, why not?
Husband looks delicious in pink thanks to his lovely olive skin. He has a polo in pink, a business shirt in pink so yes, pink is not a problem at our house :xmas_laugh:
Gossamer
"Santa" is bringing DH a pink tie for Christmas. DH has assured me that he will wear it. :xmas_cool:
Interrobang
DH has a few different pink t-shirts and business shirts, I can't imagine why it would be an issue.

ETA: The post below me reminded me that I paint DH's toenails often, for fun, and he has gone for a massage with hot pink nails on more than one occasion.
AuntyK
DH said he would wear a hot pink business shirt with a purple suit. But candy pink is out (he just doesn't like the colour).

He has worn my hot pink nail polish to work before, so I don't see why he would baulk at clothing!

My DH looks fab in his pink shirts wub.gif... he has a polo shirt and a dressy shirt, in pink...
skae
Nope, or purple.

He does now own a salmon coloured tie, which he loves. The guy at Man To Man bought it out and you should have seen his face lol, but I convinced him to try it on at least, and it looks sooo good with his dark suit.
danielle4
Why Not? I dont know. Maybe because he has grown up with males too afraid to wear pink? Maybe because he grew up thinking that pink was a colour girls wore, as did alot of males his age...I dont know. He just said that he wouldnt wear it. I wouldnt mind if he did, I like him in whatever he wears. It is just something that he personally said he would not wear.He hasnt formed a negative opinion of males that do however. Just not for him.
Fukuro Lady
My DH works for Elders and their attire is a colour of shirt called "Red on White". It's clearly pink though, and goes down really well in the country. :xmas_rolleyes:

My DH has another Pinkish shirt he often wears, he has no problem with it. He has nice dark olive skin though, maybe that makes a difference. I wouldn't be caught dead in Pink anything! My daughter on the other hand. :xmas_glare:
MadamFrou-Frou
Yep, he has a nice pink dress shirt for weddings etc.
** becstar **
Nope, not a chance :xmas_happy:

I think it is strange that grown mean are so scared of a colour!

Women are not afraid to wear blue, so why are men so scared of pink?
sueiain
Yes, he has a really nice pink dress shirt which looks great with his olive skin. My 7yo DS has a pink polo and he has worn it to a few birthday parties, there is always some child that comments, DS just shrugs and says "I don't care, I like it". Good on him I say.
ladyp
No.

He won't wear anything that has flowers or frills either.

When we lived in the UK it was very hard for him to buy a shirt because at the time most mens clothes were either pink, flowers or has frills :xmas_wacko: .
Bwok~Bwok
I actually don't know about DB

But Dad would - Tt's sort of a running joke.

About 15 years ago he got a knock at the door and grabbed his dressing gown as he just had boxer shorts on. It was the Police at the door! As they walked away one Cop said 'BTW Sir, I love your dressing gown!' Turns out he had grabbed Mum's bright pink dressing gown.

So now he has a pink dressing gown, pink jammies, pink everything - sh*t he even has a pink moped and helmet. :xmas_laugh:
melbgirl
My DH looks fantastic in pink.

He has a pink tie, 3 or 4 polo shirts, at least 2 dress shirts and he doesn't even wear suits & shirts to work.

He also has pink cufflinks that he wore on our wedding day. The groomsmen also wore pink shirts or ties (can't remember which).

No one complined and no I was not a bridezilla and made them wear it wink.gif

I would love to put DS in pink but I sold all DDs pink stuff on ebay just after I had him. Bugger!
brookstar
ABSOLUTELY - Pink is his favourite colour (and singer :xmas_tongue: ).

He has so many dress shirts in pink and ppl always comment on it.
jessob
Yes, my Dh has a pink polo as well as a pink business shirt. He always gets comments whenever he's wearing them.
~Danni~
My DH has commented heaps of times that he would never be seen in anything pink :xmas_rolleyes:
Iris37
No, its not a colour he'd be happy wearing.
☆kermit☆
Yes definately, he has a pink shirt and tie he looks fab in. I draw the line at pink pants though :xmas_laugh:
~sonique~
HELL NO!!
Nieuw mij
No

He does not like the colour much unless it is on our DD

But he thinks she is adorable in what ever she is wearing lol
Ducky*Fuzz
Yes, and has many times.
cherrymamma
yes, has in the past and will in the future, he has purchased pink shirts on his own volition. nothing wrong with pink on boys.

in france, pink is considered a boys colour.

My thoughts too.

Dh actually had a lavender shirt on for work yesterday and DD1 piped up and said "Look daddies wearing a girls shirt" laughing2.gif It was actually the shirt he was married in blush.gif

It was considered a boys colour by the Victorians as well. Their line of reasoning was that red is the colour of blood and warriors. Pink is just red and white so it follows that pink is a masculine colour. Blue was seen as insipid and weak and therefore feminine.

And people still try to insist that gender stereotypes have no basis in culture..... :xmas_wacko:

No chance & neither would I!!

But I don't think blokes are 'scared' of pink, what a stupid concept to suggest!! I'd say it's more to do with with taste & aesthetics (or lack of). As some people have mentioned, their DHs with darker complexions wear pink well, there's no way it would suit my pale-blue husband!
Illiterati
Yes. Our kids picked a pink, black and purple shirt for him a while back and her waers it all the time.

My partner has a Hawaiian shirt with big bold flowers - comes out during the festive season.

DH isn't a fan of pink but I've snuck in a few ties here and there with pink in them and they are apparently okay lol! :xmas_laugh: I actually think pink looks great on a lot of guys - don't mind a pink polo top for example with jeans looks hot on the right man! :xmas_wink:

I also love purple and orange on guys! :xmas_tongue:
Snagglepussed
Yes and he does! Had two lovely pink business shirts and he looks just scrumptious in them!
lisa25
Yes, he certainly does, it is his favorite colour! In fact, he will dye his hair pink quite often if the mood grabs him and his current job allows it.

DH's wardrobe largely consists of Ralph Lauren which is a brand known for its bold use of colour. DH has gotten around in some interesting colours/ensembles including pink, but they suit him. I don't think I've ever seen him in solid pink tough.
~J.E.S.S.I.C.A~
Yes, DP does/would wear pink - it really suits his skin tone.

My father (who also has an olive complexion) has a hot pink RL polo that he wears regularly.

Nothing wrong with a man in pink IMO original.gif
mischiefmaker
Yes, he has two lovely pink/salmon polo shirts.

I don't understand why so many men have such an aversion to the colour pink.

Do they think wearing it will turn them gay or something? :xmas_wacko:
LynnyP
Yes he would and has. Luckily we have all the children we want so it doesn't matter if it turns him gay. I just hope his penis doesn't drop off is all.
TPS
DH would and does! He has a couple of lovely pink ties and a great pink french cuff shirt.

This whole 'real men don't wear pink' attitude is just ridiculous.
chat
He wears purple business shirts...one is very close to looking pink. I reckon he would actually. One of my close male friends wears pink tops and shirts :xmas_laugh:
PrincessPinkenIt
DH doesn't have a pink shirt or any other pink clothing. He has a purple shirt if that counts? I haven't asked him if he'd wear pink.

I've had DS in a pale pink shirt a few times and I think he looked good in it as his has light olive skin.
Infinite*Hope
Not in this lifetime, and most likely not in his next either.

He won't even wear a t-shirt if it has ANY pink on it at all.

Shame - because there is some really lovely menswear out there that has a hint of pink!
PurpleWitch
No, he wouldn't wear pink but he does wear plenty of purple wink.gif
