Not funny. I can see my DH saying it, but in a - "You were just too ambitious and you have worked so hard" kind of way. Funny, as in ha ha funny, it isn't.

Mex, my Dh has a way of saying things like this too, just when I'm at the end of my tether! Button pusher me thinks!

Not funny - but try having a house guest following you round TELLING you how to do your chores (not helping)... :xmas_wacko: I am going to end up killing him with bare hands and perhaps an empty bottle of window cleaner :xmas_mad:

I would think its funny because i would be "haha so you think its so funny then i am going to laugh whilst you do it"
My DH has only "joked" about a couple of things and he has never done the same thing again. Either he does it or i say "ha ha you want it done so much then you do it yourself".
Seriously soon shuts them up

My DH would mean it! :xmas_glare: :xmas_blush:
Nope - when you are having a hard day, I don't find those comments funny. Hope tomorrow is a bit more relaxed for you!

Side-splitting! For him....

My db is usually smart enough not to dare say something like that, I'd bite his head off....
I reply with some b**chy comment and make him feel real bad, it's a long time in between those sorts of comments though, as I am clearly NOT amused..
On other days I try and be sh*tty at him but he's so cute, I end up laughing too.
Males really can't help it, so I try to let them off the hook more than not.

My DP does this to rile me, though we kinda have a 'p*ss-take' sense of humour and tease each other all the time so I laugh it off now. However there is certainly a time and a place so while he'll often do it to break the tension, he knows when not to (well on the whole.. sometimes a swift kick to the privates reminds him of this

).

Very cheeky... Kind of thing my DH might say. They might mean it to be funny, but heavens above it can be annoying!

I used to get really upset when DH said things like that to me, now I just reply with something smart a*se or ignore him ... or, like others, hit him! lol!
