Anyone got any experience with making pumpkin pie?? I know it requires a specific kind of pumpkin, not common here in Australia, but I can't remember exactly what type it is.

Some Canadian friends used to make this for me - I'm 99% sure they used canned pumpkin, I think it comes as a puree?
